Was in your area today 25 April 2024 attending a funeral. I live in North Lanarkshire. I thought our roads were bad but here they are not. For heavens sake, sack the person in charge of roads. East Renfrewshire should be called Pothole city. Why is that acceptable? Folk pay their Council Tax so why are you not resurfacing the roads????
I am a member of the gym the sauna has been out of action for months so has the steam room still charging top dollar for a membership ??nThe neilston gym shuts at 12 until 345 what use is that to anyone ??some folk dont or cant make it to barrhead gym which is mince anyway but as long as the rich councillers get there wages they dont a toss .nA new 24hr gym is needed in barrhead puregym im hoping someone gets one built as im chucking the council one council spoiling things as per usual no common sense between the lot of them.
As we approach election time, THINK about the condition of the Barrhead Area ….the NUMEROUS POTHOLES, THE LITTER, THE WEEDS not forgetting one of the HIGHEST COUNCIL CHARGES in the area. It’s high time this council was shown the red card, they have had years of making a pigs ear of Barrhead and surrounding areas along withnthe mismanagement of OUR Council Tax, they really don’t deserve to have this responsibility.nnHas any other residents of Barrhead, noticed as the 2024 summer months approach, the absence yet again, of summer flowers from the expensive planters and hanging basket poles, which were purchased by East Renfrewshire Council and are situated in Barrhead Main Street and High Street.nOn contacting East Renfrewshire Council, I was informed there will be NO hanging baskets placed on these expensive poles, which were erected in the Main Street, however the council intend to plant some flowers in the expensive planters, that are presently full of weeds, within 10-14 days !nI ask the question, “Why are the residents of East Renfrewshire paying such high Council Tax Charges, for such poor services? “nThese councillors, who make the decisions to waste Tax Payers money , in the respect of these expensive “White Elephants” that are now filled with rubbish and weeds, should be made accountable and taken to task !nPerhaps if this waste of Tax Payers Money came out the councillor’s pension pots, they’d think twice about the wastage that is so apparent within East Renfrew Council !nThese planters should be filled with bright flowers, as many other towns, who have lower council tax charges, are in full bloom just now, which would make the Barrhead image much more attractive !nnTIME FOR A CHANGE OF PERSONNEL AT EAST RENFREWSHIRE COUNCIL !
Please take your duty seriously. You are not professional at all. We paid the tax for your service but you do not treat us like CUSTOMERS though there is a desk with 'Customer First'.
A total nightmare! Sorting out students discount take 6 months every year! Figures on council tax letters are taken from the moon.nA lot of people there doesn’t care about their duties.
