Good strong local, great beer and wine selection. Had the sausage roll, fried chicken and steak. Really enjoyed the fried chicken and dipping sauce. The steak and sausage roll were okay and not really worth the cost.Food: 4/5
Great pub. We came to watch the Euros and ended up staying for about 10 pints. Prices are reasonable and the staff are super friendly and seem to enjoy themselves whilst working, which is what it's all about. My only recommendations are to consider adding a few more screens inside, and get one for outside too, as they're missing opportunities to capitalise further on big sporting events.
Never been before and it was a surprise. Spacious, good atmosphere and a decent range of beers and wines. Nice place to meet up for a big group of friends. Also makes a nice change from the other pubs that I/we have done many times before.Atmosphere: 5/5
A great pub vibe with a nice mix of traditional and new on the menu. We had the tuna main dish and the fish and chips our last fish and chips before returning home and it did not disappoint - light crispy exterior and moist perfectly cooked fish inside. The servers were attentive and the food was delivered promptly! We had the draft Landlord and Moretti, delish, and of course the sticky toffee pudding.
Amazing place, we always come here for Sunday Roast and board games! They have great selection of dishes and my favourite is Lamb Shepherd's Pie, definitely recommend! Atmosphere is great and staff is very kind and friendly.Food: 5/5
I was disappointed to the well done steak , but. The OM Sam came to me and asked about my steak, it made me feel like the business is running by heart they care about every customer. I will continue to come back to support them . Wine is nice too . Sunday roast is my favourite by the way .
Overall my experience was ok - the food was pretty decent. The service was really pretty poor and slow but the waitress was nice enough. However, the Mother’s Day set menu said the roasts would be served with cauliflower cheese. They were not. When I asked about this, the waitress said I could purchase it as a side. Not very impressed.Food: 4/5
Great Sunday Roast. The dry aged steak runs out quickly. The branch is also very delicious. Love the atmosphere and the friendly staff.
This pub has completely changed and we LOVE IT! Great atmosphere and stylish decor plus the staff are really lovely to chat to. I had the pork which was perfect and it came with amazing crackling!! My partner had the burger who said it was a "solidly good burg" and the desserts were sublime. The gin cocktails really blew me away especially the Putney Gin Fizz and the one with Basil in it. They also have an applewood smoking machine for their other cocktails which I thought was pretty cool. Also you can request biodegradable straws which I thought was a nice touch, will definitely be going back!
Food good, service very poor. I don't mind paying service charge, but 12.5%, just to put your food on the table, very poor. No one came to see how our food was, I went the bar to get our drinks - why the service charge, over £9
