East and West

It is my favourite supermarket on Stratford Road. I come here the most regulary and almost always find what I am looking for quite easily. The staff are helpful and friendly and the layout of the store is spacious and everything is neat and tidy so all products are easy to get to unlike some places where is feels like your in a market more then a store. They also have an amazing butcher in store where the staff are also very polite and friendly and have a range of fish, meat and poultry both marinated and plain. I would definitely recommend this place. Its my go to from now on.

Staff needs to be more educated You have to keep an eye on your shopping well they serve you otherwise they will charge you extra. I brought tomatoes and they were the cheap ones but the lady charged me for the expensive ones and then I realised I brought green apples and the lady pressed red apples on the till so I stayed quiet until it came to the end and then I told her that she’s made two mistakes that can’t be done accidentally. I’m a undercover shopper for high retailers so I keep a good eye on what’s going on. Shopping is cheap, Fruit and veg are fresh I think the veg delivery come everyday which is good Be aware what you pick and pay💰

As with all the stores in this area it is fairly unhygienic with things laid around everywhere. The butchers don't wash their hands either. However, the price of goods is really low so good if you're on a budget or are frugal. This is one of the better stores in the area. The best part is plastic bags are free.

Just shopped from here find stuff easily and good staff apart from they don't greet or say good bye.. Find it bit rude... Guy on the meat section was decent enough to say hello. Will speak to management next time.

Have been coming here for the past month now on a once weekly basis. Thought I'd give it a try after reading the other reviews that were posted. There's a good selection of good quality Asian products including fresh fruit and veg, that are reasonably priced. This means you can pick up almost anything you're looking for. Dead handy. The staff are friendly and helpful which makes a pleasant change from other Asian supermarkets in the area. The draw for me though is the butcher's. There's a good selection of meat and poultry to choose from and not only is it fresh and clean but reasonably priced. I have now stopped going to Azad Supermarket on Stratford Road as this place is miles better. Sure it's a little smaller than Azad and a couple of other supermarkets on Stratford Road and has a slightly smaller selection of goods but they make up for it in other ways.
