I've been at this Waitrose store for almost 4 years now. The quality of their fruits and veggies can be a bit hit or miss. Sometimes they're great, other times they're rotten. I think the quality has gone down a bit lately. When I go, the berry shelves are usually empty. But they do have a really cool selection of exotic fruits like dragon fruit, papaya, and persimmon, which I appreciate. I like Waitrose for all the healthy, quality products they have. On the plus side, the staff are always friendly, and I usually get in and out pretty quickly because there aren't usually long lines at the self-checkout.nnOh, and if anyone from Waitrose happens to read this review, please continue to sell seeded grapes. You don't know how much I appreciate this.
Thought I had a good deal. Meat on special offer yellow sticker as it was best before same day and it was almost closing time. But at 7.30pm lo and behold a staff took a trolley and put all the yellow stickers food on it and wheel the trolley inside the storeroom. Before the storeroom door closed I saw 2 staff inside the storeroom grabbing the offers on the trolley for themselves. Shameful.
Nice clean local shop with good range of groceries and other seasonal items. Good range of flowers too. The staff are generally very friendly. The car park is excellent and given the lack of parking on the High Street or any nearby roads very much needed.

High quality products, lots of staffed check outs, friendly helpful staff, a pleasure to go shopping here.nSharing lots of pics here, specially when coming from overseas like me, photos helps a lot to give an idea of what we can find in at the supermarkets in another country, how much things cost, so we can be prepared, and it's just fun to see all different products and variety.nEnjoy! :nPhotos taken September 2023.
A lovely and friendly service from Suzie S both today and a few week’s back. Sue was kind enough to gift wrap my flowers for the perfect finish and to make my gift that extra bit special. A lovely soul and an asset to the business.
