Turned up there unannounced at 4pm on a Friday because the battery of my mum's car key had just died. The guy who was working on a car at the time changed the battery straight away! He then explained to us that we may need to re-sync the key with the car, and that if we had any issues to bring the car there. May not sound like a big deal, but my mum couldn't even get into the boot of her car. Really appreciated the friendly and fast help!

I have used the services of E.J. Cockburn on several occasions over the years for investigation and subsequent repairs to Mercedes and VW vehicles including a recent occasion for an overall assessment and repairs to a BMW. Suffice to say that you will go a long way to find a better level of service and expertise and have no hesitation in putting forward this recommendation.

I have had several different cars diagnosed and repaired here and couldn't fault the service. Lots of time was put into diagnosing difficult problems with out the usual "get a new part" answer. Highly recommended.

Garages can be intimidating places, inhabited by gruff, surly or dour mechanics who emerge from a dark recess having wrestled with a gallon of engine oil, to glower sceptically ay your feeble request. Not so at Cockburns Garage! The staff are consistently warm, friendly and accommodating with any requests you my have. All the work is explained carefully, in detail, including pricing before it takes place. In todays virtual world, it is gratifying to experience a more traditional, caring, face to face transaction, that is focused on providing a great customer service.
