Great gym, good equipment, sunbed and great facilities etc. Only drawback is it gets extremely busy after 5pm sometimes so hard to get a good session in and some highly rude people on the gym floor regularly so atmosphere isn't good at all. I paid 50 monthly for a flexible no ties membership so I didn't have to have a contract but when I tried to cancel the manager argued with me and said I can't cancel (you can in the terms and conditions with 1 month notice written to them) and said they would charge me an extra month for cancelling. Find the staff to be highly unprofessional and lack customer service skills leaving you waiting to be served frequently...

This gym is in an excellent location if you work and live near Royal Blackburn Hospital. It also has a good range of equipment. However, that’s where the positives end. Without the NHS discount it is extortionately expensive. It gets very busy and they do not have sufficient equipment, washing facilities and lockers for the number of members. The hot tubs are not hot - barely warm and the steam room is pointless - again these are supposed to be warm aren’t they? Worst of all the changing rooms are filthy, dirt all over the floors and the staff are rarely seen cleaning them. Paint is falling from the ceilings in the pool area. Really the only part of the complex up to scratch is the shop they have upstairs. But like I said it is the convenience to the hospital and the NHS discount that makes it bearable.

Been here nearly 5 years

Full of old biddies and pensioners feeling sorry for them selves always moaning at noise getting made and how hard there life is !!
it’s a gym not a library you’re at the wrong place lol!

Not only the members use car park facilities so do the hospital staff and soccer dome so any negative comment on parking in disability space is irrelevant as dw are not responsible 

Staff are lovely and friendly well most of them, cleaners always do there best 

ONLY CLOSED 1DAY A YEAR :)

Management are useless ;) but I’ve seen gyms managed a lot worse

The place needs better maintenance as it is not clean and tidy like it used to be...

However, the centre still has one of the best facilities than most others in Blackburn!

Decent facilities but generally the gym is poorly maintained with dirty toilets/changing rooms/showers. Steam room still not got enough and showers are push button which is poor for a private gym at this price.

Members disrespect the place by parking in disabled bays, leaving stubble all over sinks, destroying the toilets and NEVER putting the free weights or other equipment back.

The paper towel to clean equipment is regularly out and therefore the equipment is wet with other people's and sometimes through no fault of my own, my sweat.

The refurb was excellent and equipment is first class but due to all the factors I should take as granted but unfortunately don't I have decided to cancel my membership after many years to join a gym that values customer service despite having less equipment.
