I recently passed my driving test at Gateshead Driving Test Centre with only 3 minors, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience!nnMy examiner, Shereen Gordon, was such a kind and calming person. She made me feel at ease right from the start, which really helped with my nerves. Her clear instructions and friendly approach made the whole test feel much more comfortable than I expected.nnThe test centre itself was well-organised and ran smoothly, creating a positive environment for learners.nnOverall, a great experience, and I’m so grateful to have had such a lovely examiner. I just had my first test here yesterday, and it was a great experience! My examiner was Alan, he was very polite and helpful throughout the test which made the whole experience much more relaxing and calmed my nerves. I passed with 6 minors, but I luckily didn't run into many hazards or issues. Good luck everyone, and I recommend this test centre!
Great experience- smooth process. 1st time pass with 3 minors.nnAfter reading reviews before hand I was naturally worried.nnWe arrived with my 17 year old daughter for her first test. She’s been learning with myself for the past 14 weeks, two weeks before we had booked an instructor to give her a mock test, we worked hard on those areas that needed tweaking.nI have had her driving in all road conditions, including ice with alot of night time driving on back roads with her main beams on, we’ve invested so much time not only on the road but watching the videos to help.nShe sat her test in her own car. We done no driving on the day of her test as I knew she was ready so didn’t want to over do it.I drove her to the centre I let her go in and drive how she has been driving, letting the instructor assess if she’s safe on the roads. Anyone can drive a car but are they safe?nnShe had Paul the examiner who didn’t know she didn’t have lessons with an instructor, he was calm and polite thought out. Came back with 3 minors, one of which were not remembering how to switch her dipped headlights on.nnThe whole experience was smooth and couldn’t have asked for a calmer, nicer examiner who said it was a really good drive.
Had my driving test today with an examiner called Hailey. She was friendly and really felt me feel at ease at the beginning of the test and also throughout. Happy with my experience at Gateshead test centre also very please that I passed!
I failed my test, completely my fault, speeding, rolling back etc. However I just want to say that my examiner i apologise i forgot her name, the lady with short blonde hair was absolutely lovely, she was a calming presence and was very kind, she directed me when I was unsure even whilst using the satnav. It was nice to feel at ease. Thank you :
