I send the same size parcels with post office quite often which is always a large letter, it fits through the guide they have in store. so I asked in here for the same and the lady was so rude and unprofessional and refused. Took it to a different branch the next day and no problem at all. There’s lots of reviews about the awful customer service in here and I agree. I’ll never go here again even for the shop because of their rudeness
Great, well stocked shop, convenient Post Office, friendly, hard working staff. This place is the essence of a well run family owned businesses and should serve as a model to anyone wanting to see how hard graft and good customer service pays off. Credit to the community.
The only place where Staff do not wear a mask and no alcohol gel is available at the entrance unless you buy it in the shop! They simply do not care. I only visit that place for the post office. On the bright side they have one of the few remaining free cash points , second star added.
There is a white haired lady who works behind the post office counter... she is a pleasure to deal with. The OTHER lady is the rudest post office employee I've ever had the displeasure to deal with. She is surly and rude and should not be in a customer facing role. I was going to spend some money in the shop but was so annoyed by her attitude I left immediately. Please post the times when the other lady is on duty.
Went in last week to pay some cash into my account. Not a problem. Today went in and got told that it was closed. That's funny I said I done this last week when the young lad was in....oh suddenly she can now log in but she wouldn't stop banging on about having to declare the cash blah blah and that it's only 1 customer etc. Just walked out and will NEVER call back in that store.
On a hot day during a bike ride I grabbed a can of warm pop from what claimed to be chilled drinks. When I mentioned it I grumpily told "it's just been filled" . No in actual fact it was turned off. The warm drink I could handle. Rudeness and lies are just terrible customer service.
The post office apparently shuts earlier than it says it does on the official Post Office website 5:30pm instead of 7pm on a Saturday. Was faced with rudeness and a dirty look by the older guy when I informed them that the info was wrong on the official Post Office website. I was going to buy other bits and bobs in the shop but probably won't return again.
Imagine a mixture of Cruella Deville and Victor Meldrum and you have the majority of staff in this place. If there's a problem, they'll make you aware, if there isn't, they'll for sure invent one. Bar the odd members of staff who are helpful, the others are horribly rude.

Absolute joke of a place owned by members of the Addams family ..clueless post office. Overpriced shop ..avoid!
