We are a family run practice and provide the quality of care and attention that we would expect for ourselves or a member of our family. We are a team of highly experienced clinicians that use state of the art equipment.

Story

We are a well-established family dental practice established by John Duthie in 1977.

The team now consists of 3 full-time Dentists, 2 Dental Hygienists, 2 Dental Therapists providing a full service in 4 surgeries equipped with the latest ‘state of the art’ equipment.

The clinical team are supported by a staff of ten people providing the management, reception, nursing and laboratory services.

In striving for excellence the practice was one of the first Denplan Excel practices in the country. This involves a rigorous annual inspection to ensure that we meet their excellent standards.

All staff are involved in continuous professional development to ensure that the practice provides the highest standards of treatment and care.

I have been going to this practice for years. The front of house staff are always lovely, friendly and so helpful.
I called in a few weeks ago for emergency treatment and had been seen by John and Chloe. They were both very professional providing detailed information of the options available to me. Yet, they were also humerous which helped me feel relaxed during my visit. The dental work I needed would usually take approximately 40-50 mins but I only had a 20min appointment booked. However, they both went above and beyond to help me get the treatment I needed by fitting me inbetween other patients appointments to complete my treatment during one visit. 
The staff are a credit to this practice & I would highly recommend this place to maintain your pearly whites.

Only had experience with one dentist here . He left me in pain with a nasty gum infection and refused to remove a tooth in my mouth because I smoke and sort of threatened me to stop by saying his mum had stopped cos he used to beat her up and then  he would let me have implants .The dentist was John and I wouldn’t recommend him as six months later I am still in pain as the root is exposed due to my gum receding further. They also charged me twice for one treatment  with a hygienist who had to anaethetise my mouth because the nerves where exposed . This is an honest review!

This Practice is Fantastic, have been coming here for years and would not go anywhere else 5/5. Lovely staff and very professional.
