This review is regarding the Click and Collect service. Against my better judgement I reluctantly used this service due to a tight schedule this week.nnI placed an order on line for collection with a collection time of 6-7. I received a phone call from a Stephen to inform me it would be ready closer to 7 rather than 6. OK no problem. I arrived at 6.50 and called only to be informed the order wasn't picked yet and would be at least another half hour. I asked would it be ready for 8 and was told it should be. I then received an email at 19.43 to confirm it was ready for collection and a second email to confirm items were not available for picking. The item not available was an item in the 3 for 10 offer and because of this I was unable to avail of the 3 for 10 offer.nOnce I collected the order, I went to the store to chose another item only to find the product that was marked as not available at the time of picking still available on the shelf.nI approached the customer service desk about the issue and they initially looked confused and flustered. The resolve they offered was to bring in the complete order and they would refund, then I could repurchase them.nAs ridiculous as it sounds, I told her this and asked for the manager. I spoke to A member of the management team, didnt catch her name, who tried to explain that maybe the shelves had been restocked in the meantime.nI asked it the stock was available to be restocked then why wasn't it picked in the order she couldn't answer.nAnyway this was not the case as it was only 15 minutes in the difference and when I was at the meat and poultry section there was no staff to be seen with the section in a complete mess.nAfter I explained that I was not afforded the offering in my order due to this being marked out of stock for my order when it clearly wasn't the manager then brushed me off and said the lady at the customer service desk will sort it.nI again discussed this with here and offered the solution of taking the 2 items I did receive from the shelf and she scan these rather than bringing the entire order back. She agreed but I would need to go and pick these from the shelf for her to action it.nOf course I provided her the proof of purchase emails I received showing the item out of stock etc.nEventually she corrected the issue but the hassle from the start with the missed picking time to collection times to not receiving product that was in stock and the level of customer service from all individuals I spoke to in person or on the phone, the experience was so negative and frustrating I don't see the benefits of using such a service again.nThis is not the level of customer service I would expect from Dunnes Stores
Tis grand really massive , the staff are really rude though especially the ones at the deli area and at the till in the same section also it's dunnes which is always pricey the food ain't bad not the best
Overall a good store for the weekly shop. Sometimes won't have regular items in stock
It's a superstore and some other ancillary shops. But parking is a nightmare during the day... get there early morning or late evening for hassle free shopping...
Lovely food. Just had a lunch there 1st time. It was really good, better then expected
