The place I was most treated with xenophobia in Dublin, rude, unprofessional treatment. This is limited to sales, the collection warehouse staff are very professional. Building shed and maintaining my house, a friend of mine recommended this place and it would be close to my house. I've already spent almost 2,000 euros on materials, and today, I'm tired of being treated differently, and I feel not welcome at the store. First order, my Irish wife had no problems, last week and today when I went to the store I suffered from poor service and lack of interest from the sellers in helping with Material you were looking for. Everything I asked about, they said they didn't have, I had to insist and show products online, but some things they refused to have, I saw in their warehouse when I picked it up. , my order was wrong, I communicated, I didn't see any interest in help, just no, no no, I don't have. When I left the sales counter, I heard xenophobic jokes from the sellers, I may have foreign accents, but I can hear Irish accents well. Worst place with customer treatment I have ever experienced in Dublin.
Anything you need you need they have it and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would like to thank core on behalf of cherrywood tidy towns for their kind donation and help they give us ever year

A fantastic group to deal with. I made an online order that saved me €70 on Woodie's prices. There was a slight mix-up on the order and once contacted they said a replacement would arrive the next morning and it did. Top-class service. Top class company. Don't pass them. They are fantastic.

I visit a builders providers about once a week. I live closer to Core than Goodwins. They know my face in both places. I much prefer to go to goodwins for two main reasons. First is the price. Secondly and more importantly is the customer service element. Today, against my better judgement I decided to give core another chance. To put it simply it would be really good if core could be a little more economical with the amount of idle chatter spent with customers while there's a queue going halfway across the shop. If there's no queue, then no problem. Today there were four people at the counter serving. Two were engaged with a technical till issue. One, the youngest guy was very busy and servicing a lot of customers, and the fourth was engaged in a rambling conversation with customer who's transaction was complete. It would be a bad day if we decided to dispense with all common courtesies and friendly conversations. But let's keep it in proportion, please. Please remember that as I wait in the queue, I have two lads on an hourly rate sitting chatting and smoking until I get back. Price- I will use a staple of the business to make the point. Core : Sand and cement mix Price: 9.72 +23% vat = 11.95 for 20kg = 59.77 cents / kg. Vs goodwins 9.25 including vat for 25 kg = 37 cents per kg. Virtually identical product. Deliveries from Core are more economical. The people working at Core are very nice and helpful when you do eventually reach the counter. They also have expertise at hand if you need it. It's just the 'ignoring people in the queue' that's the killer.
Excellent service with a smile. Very helpful staff, and thanks to Dillion for helping me out. My new go-to store for everything needed.
