It would be appreciated that in the times of difficult weather conditions some effort is made to warn people that the place is shut for the day. Glasgow is not a village, there are means to inform people beforehand which branches are operating and which aren't. I checked Post Office's Facebook page, Google Maps and their official website - no word whatsoever about certain branches being shut due to snowfall. It's not a Russian roulette, why should a place be assumed closed if such hasn't been announced through available channels? What is more - certain businesses operate as usual and have deadlines to meet that involve the use of Post Office's services. Post Office being thoughtful enough to  keep their customers posted would have saved me time and struggle of traveling to the wrong branch. And yes, I will now not meet the deadline thanks to that.
