A brilliant place for food and drink and a pleasure to meet Malcolm the owner. I think he is probably quite a legend, and he made our short stop off for lunch an absolute joy. All the staff are friendly and fun. And I think thats what the Ducks is all about.....FUN. There are a few ducks dotted around, and the bar area is welcoming and homely. Very clean and clearly Malcolm and his team take great pride in keeping this place looking top notch.
Food was brilliant and I enjoyed a steak sandwich cooked to perfection.
I am not a golfer, however, if you are in the area for golf, then the best place to go after your round must be the Ducks Inn. Enjoy the food, the pleasurable company, and the good beer too. Now my favourite country Inn and hope to be back many times when visiting beautiful Aberlady.

Warm and friendly hotel bar. Real ale was most acceptable.

We had a lunch here recently with the family. Food was beautiful!! Small lunch menu with a great choice! Staff were professional and very attentive! Chef was so accommodating with dietary requirements! Cannot fault!
High chair was a little out dated, a bit wonky, so our little one sat on us. We felt as though it wasn't the most child friendly pub we have been to. (Think that was down to the locals at the bar giving us scornful looks for chatting and involving our children in converstaion) which is such a shame, made us feel uneasy but that isn't ducks fault, however, it does put us off bringing the children back here. Will certainly return though ourselves!

Called in after going to see the poppies in the churchyard, we were made very welcome and the coffee was delicious
