Set amidst the world famous links courses of Gullane and Muirfield, The Old Clubhouse is a renouned bar/restaurant enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.

Story

The half timbered building on East Links Road dates back to 1890 when it was built for the members of Gullane Golf Club. The club moved to 'new' premises in 1924, since when the building has been used for a number of purposes, settling in it's current form around 22 years ago.
Extensive outdoor seating, with spectacular views during the summer months and roaring log fires in the winter. You can be assured of a warm welcome whatever the season.

This is an absolutely awesome place. We stumbled across it coming back from North Berwick and watched the third round of the 150th open here for a few hours. Such a cozy place to hide out and feels very local and communal. Great staff and excellent food.

Brilliant local eatery - Fantastic service and food. Sat outside and enjoyed the sun and the ambience.

Yes nice food reasonably priced and have been well looked after here in the last week during our golfing trip. Decent beers, although no cask ales. Yes we returned here in 2021. Food still excellent. They now have a decent choice of Cask and Craft Ales as well.

So good we went back again, originally we meant to return just for a cheeky drink but the food smells were so tempting … The beer is good, the staff are all lovely - personable, efficient and they can actually describe the food, the food dishes are sizeable, well cooked with good ingredients. Booking generally advisable, but do it and you’ll not be disappointed. Happily and wholly recommended.

Food was excellent and staff great.

Popped into here at the recommendation of a local friend and we weren't disappointed. Friendly staff, charming ambience, delicious meal. My vegetarian dish was fantastic and the hubs was delighted with his steak.And a courtesy ride home. Truly a fantastic evening.

I love this place!! Nothing cures a rough day on the links like Cullen Skink soup and Beef Stifado pie at The Old Clubhouse.

Lovely meal after a fabulous round of golf. Food just perfect really different choice to the box standard pub food and to top it, the service is very friendly and efficient. A small Loaded nachos and cheese witj Haggis of course to share between 3 was more than enough and very tasty. Home made curry of the day and burger all excellent. Small portions are the perfect size. Highly recommended  dog  and child friendly too.  Parking: Parking out front

Such a friendly team. Evening meal after day at the great beaches here.  Food smashing. Exceptionally kind to the dog too... Great atmosphere, busy, capable but relaxed.

Fantastic food.  Squid was incredible.  Fast attentive service.  Lovely surroundings.  First class
