Came with friends to the Duchess Belle to see all the football matches of the World Cup and the atmosphere did not disappoint! It was full but the service was still good. Had different beers recommended by the bartender. They have a back garden and, eventhough we did not order it, the food looked very tasty will try it next time!. It is right in front of Battersea Power Station and the tube.
We came here for the Sunday Roast. The service and place is really nice however the food is not that great. I had the vegetarian roast, which was okay, I’d say 3.5/5, however the chicken roast contained bones and it wasn’t cooked amazingly. The parking is quite bad in the area as well. We might come back to try other meals, as the overall experience was good, but if you are looking for a roast I believe there are better places in the area.
This is the sister site to the Griffin Belle both south of the river and you can instantly tell from the lovely decor when you arrive. They have friendly bar staff, a very comprehensive menu, and a great selection of beers, wines, and spirits. There’s sports playing on the TV and the staff are happy to change this at times. There’s also outdoor seating with heaters too.
Very nice and warm pub. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice selection of beers and drinks. Didn't try the food though, but definitely next time.
Nice inside with a good walled garden. Lots of screens for sport. Service was a bit slow but courteous. Down side was the chicken burger I had. The chicken was burger shaped and fell apart when you cut it, never seen a chicken burger like it, it was also very very dry. This must have been a processed item. Didn’t taste like chicken either.
I’ve just walked in to this flowery decorated pub for a pint and I didn’t know they have the opened garden, there were not places available to sit inside, so I made my way to the garden. I quite enjoyed just be sitting there having my pint, heated by the heat lamp on a Saturday night.
Quite a gem of a pub, right opposite The Northern Line newest Tube Station. Battersea Power Station. It has a first class outside seating area. Cheapest fish n chips in London. I didn't eat here on this occasion, but I did enjoy a few drinks. The whole place seems adorned with flowers. They even have a Christmas tree set up in the fireplace.
We went to this pub specifically because we had some nice vouchers that enabled me and my brother to get cheap booze. We would have been happy no matter what! However, the pub was lovely. The interior was unique, and eye catching , and the staff were funny and chatty. Couldn't really ask for anything more
Since moving into the local area and having the Duchess Belle as a local pub I can’t fault their dedication to showing live sport. As soon as you walk in, screens on most of the walls, audio so you can hear any matches plus the staff also help out if the volume is too low or high. Pub garden is a hidden gem, brilliant for sunny days and a great atmosphere. Plus they are very dog friendly. Regarding the food I have no complaints, the wings are great and very good value. A great visit if you’re in the area.
If you are coming to the Battersea Power Station make sure you stop off at The Duchess Belle Pub opposite the tube station. I have just had one of the best breakfasts ever. The staff are pleasant and Jenny and Mike always give people a nice welcome. The Sunday roast is good value, and if there are no tables inside, there are covered tables in the garden with heaters. It’s always busy with a great atmosphere and trouble free. I really recommend The Duchess Belle.
