Staying in the area with friends, The Druid Inn was recommended to us by the owner of the place we were staying. The food was good, as was the beer. The landlord was friendly and welcoming. The locals were all very welcoming and friendly and enjoyed the lively talk in the bar and out in the smoking area, which is sheltered and has a wood burner for colder nights when it’s busy and people sit around chatting.
We have a reactive dog and approached Nigel the landlord the day before to see if our dog could be accommodated. On arrival we were put in a bespoke area and the staff could not have been friendlier or more welcoming. The food Sunday lunch was excellent and could not be faulted and the service was first rate. A great experience from a pub a little out of town. It's well worth the trip and highly recommended.
Great beer. Very friendly, despite me being an Englishman arriving during and Wales - England game.
Had a lovely Sunday lunch here when visiting Bwlch Nant Yr Arian for the Red Kite feeding. Nothing posh but a great home cooked dinner for the money. Friendly staff and a good pint. Would go back if we were in the area again.

Absolutely great experience. Good atmosphere, friendly owner/staff and wonderful food! The beer also tasted extremely fresh. I came here randomly while on the way from Aberystwyth, but rest assured, I will definitely be back again! Many thanks.
A proper local pub with a great atmosphere and good beer.
Nice little pub on the main road into Abersytwyth. Received a warm welcome from the landlord. The locals were friendly and engaged in conversation with us about the local area. Worth a visit for a pint and some pub food if passing through the village.
Delicious home cooked food, a warm welcome and excellent service. Nigel went out of his way for our family group of 10 people celebrating a special birthday. Thank you so much.
What a complete hole..dirty place .food was cooked all together in deep fat fryer...everything was black the onion rings mushrooms were like coal. Mrs wanted a chicken burger. Had better burgers from aldi ....never again id rather starve .
