Googled “carvery in Aberystwyth “ and the Black Lion was on the map - phoned and spoke to a helpful chap, booking for 3 made at short notice - we were very pleased and had great food ! Will go again !

Great staff, good food and excellent value. 2022, no food at the moment but still a wonderful place for a beer. New refurbishment only increases the pleasure! Food is back 2023
Love this place. True local pub, even after the recent make over. Now waiting for the return of Sunday lunch.
Love coming here, staff are super nice and the Sunday roast is amazing, buffet style
Just had a beautiful steak dinner. Prefectly cooked with all the trimmings. The plate was full and I ate every bite. Great value for money. The atmosphere was great, bar staff friendly and that makes the food enjoyment even better. Compliments to the Chef and would 100% recommend.
