I've been with this practice about two years now and I just wanted to say that the receptionists at this practice are wonderful. On the few occasions I've needed to call, everyone I've spoken to has always been so kind, friendly and professional. I've never seen a doctor here, only spoken by phone, I do think it's silly they're still not open to face to face appointments, so can't comment any experiences here. However, I've seen a couple of the nurses and have to say, they've been wonderful too. Overall I am happy with the practice but then I don't require the services very often.
Terrible surgery, you get e consulted then have to wait for 2 days before a doctor calls you and fobs you off, Surgery emailed twice me asking me to book an appointment to see my asthma nurse yearly check up, there were no appointments available for at least a month. On the day of the appointment I was contacted and told “due to Illness the appointment has been cancelled” The next appointment was at best a month away. The overall standard of service is terrible and the medical care isn’t far behind!
I find this surgery pretty bad when I comes to seeing a doctor it fails on so many levels, no one can get an appointment and its a very stressful experience however this is where my stars come in! The practice manager is so amazing and helpful she gets the full 5 stars from me she makes problems alot easier to deal with. Doctors and system 0 stars Receception staff and practice manager full 5 stars!
I’ve asked to give me a registration papers as me and my daughter were relocated into the area after domestic abuse. After the receptionist spotted my accent, she shouted loudly and extra slowly “ YOU ALREADY HAVE A DOCTOR, YES, I WORKED IN YOUR SURGERY BEFORE, YOU CAN’T HAVE ANOTHER DOCTOR! DO- YOU - UNDERSTAND? “ she has repeated it again. No, it’s not like I couldn’t understand what she was saying, I was just in shock after fleeing a domestic abuse and have been relocated into a different area so I’ll have to find a different GP due to safeguarding issues. Besides, I’ve got a BA honours in education and I’ve got a distinction at TEFL Cambridge, , so why was that receptionist talking to me like I’m a what?????? Just because I’ve choked after her reply and looked confused by her behaviour, is that ok to treat people like this? I wouldn’t have try to change gp if there wouldn’t be a safeguarding issues, but I have to, and that’s the treatment me and my underaged daughter have?? I’m disgusted
Dr P was lovely and listened and was very friendly and totally professional. Made me feel comfortable and relaxed to enable me to discuss the issues I went there for.
Why do receptionists think they're God? I don't want to tell you what's wrong with me. It's between me and the doctor. Just do your job and book me an appointment! The receptionists are awful here.
It's so sad to see people so desperate for help like myself but have to either wait 8/15 hours in meddocc which is true by way just to get a prescription. It's so sad witnessing GPs treating people like inconvenience! As for this e consult form wow biggest joke in history never available and doesn't have anything near to what I have all I know is I work alot and need some help it's appaling that british folk are nothing anymore unless you arrive in dingy
The worst GP Practice, the only good thing about the place is the receptionists. To see a doctor is a problem, they don't care one bit
So disappointed with this practice recently if you suffer with depression you only get offered telephone contact, still no face to face appointments being offered although NHS guidelines state that GP's are supposed to be seeing patients face to face. I have also been waiting for results of my urinary tract infection for over 3 weeks and I am continually being told to ring back after 2pm with no contact from GP at all.
The phone line doesn’t work! It says to “press 0 for a call back” and it doesn’t register, no matter how many times. Prescription enquiries are only available during 10-12pm mon-Fri which isn’t accessible at all. We have work and prescriptions are so important. Why is this only available for 10 hours a week?
