Called at 8:00am just before Christmas to ask for an appointment. I am not a frequent flyer at the doctors so expected a six week wait to be seen. I was told that they run a triage service and a clinician would try to call me same day. Had to give a reason why I was calling which I know some people find awkward. The GP called me the same day and offered a face to face appointment that afternoon also arranged a follow up appointment in Jan. Great service, friendly staff. Doctor I saw was very understanding Dr Ranj. cannot complain.
Great for children Thankfully but absolutely useless for adults! Referrals are being ‘forgotten’ soon to go beyond the two week pathway medical secretaries can’t be bothered to phone with information despite being told to expect a call that evening or next day STILL no call and a general lack of empathy from front of house staff as well as a lack of people skills.
This practice is awful, they never ever call you back. I've had Doctors not call me for a scheduled appointment, the receptionists are really rude and never call back and can take hours or days to even sort anything small out, even then you have to call repeatedly. They've taken over three months to sort out a fit note previously with me calling them every week. One of the doctors even outright refused to believe me about an NHS referral scheme and I had to have another appointment with another doctor to get it sorted. Today I found out they've unregistered me WITHOUT ANY NOTICE. This is a terrible practice. I've been left with no GP, I even asked why I hadn't been notified and the receptionist just said 'it's protocol when you move'. While trying to register to another gp today, they said it's naughty that this practice have unregistered me with no notice and they are supposed to give 30 days. Do not register to this practice they are useless.
Attended the Primary Health Clinic today and was treated with curtesy, didn’t have to wait to see Donna. Donna is absolutely lovely, very efficient but still has this lovely warm side to her and great sense of humour which puts people at ease. Great job CPHC.
Badly cut my leg after a fall. Was treated quickly and professionally by Donna the practice Care Nurse in a most helpful friendly manner. Was also given a follow-up appointment. Can't fault that.
This place is awful since dr Chaudhury left. There’s a young girl receptionist who is incredibly rude and couldn’t care less about helping people, she doesn’t do her job and acts very tiresome when on the phone. Then the manager I believe they are related just defends her rudeness and acts rude herself too. The pharmacy and the surgery have major communication issues, pharmacy tells you to request medication 1 week in advance, GP argues and tells you that 1 week is too early. Requested medication sits pending for weeks before it’s signed off and sent to the pharmacy unless you chase them and wait on hold for hours every day. The surgery is a joke and the staff are incredibly rude. I’ll be switching GP in the new year ASAP. The only saving grace is a young gentleman who appears to be practise manager? Whenever I have had issues with the “receptionists” who claim they just can’t do anything, this gentleman has always resolved the issue very promptly. It’d be great if he was front of desk providing great customer care
Lovely staff and service. Only rating a 4, due to h0w long I was waiting to get through to them30 minutes, which isnt ideal when dealing with 2 children under 3.
Appalling service. Phoned for an appointment for an 8 month old baby and a 4 year old nearly 2 weeks ago. Kept being told by the useless reception staff that I would be phoned back by a doctor to get a face to face appointment and still nothing. I’m phoning to chase twice a day and they are still incapable of giving me an appointment for my children. Absolutely disgusting, we will be switching. I don’t recommend using this doctors at all.
Awful service now dr chaudhary has retired. My husband been waiting months for his urgent referral to be done. Finally got his scan now reception are saying doctor will phone you with results and he never phones. Reception said just go a and e if in pain. Not helpful still awaiting the call for results
New patient and not very happy with service so far. 1 Requested to be added as a patient at the surgery - no confirmation that this had happened until I called up to check 6 weeks later. 2 Advised that as a new patient I am required to complete a form before a repeat prescription could be provided. Dropped this off 2 weeks ago. Went to my local chemist at the weekend - no prescription and was told that I wasnt even registered with them. This week I have been told that I now need to go to the surgery prior to the repeat prescription being issued. Will be over a week late receiving my medication. 3 Receptionist is extremely rude. I missed 2 calls due to being on work conference calls. When I called the surgery back, I was told off for not answering my phone "We have tried calling you multiple times and you havent been answering. Why not? You must have your phone with you at all times, and turned up loud" . This comment even after I explained that I missed the calls due to work commitments where my mobile phone was in use at the time. Maybe I should have commented that it took them over 3 hrs to return my calls in the first place!
