I recently came here for the first time for a very minor surgery with dermatology, and I had John and Lorraine I cannot praise them high enough, they were beyond friendly and reassuring, and truly went out if their way to make me feel comfortable. Even as someone who is incredibley anxious, I felt safe and at ease in their care. Thank you so very much
Just been to Dermatology for minor surgery, and bearing in mind this was my 19th minor op but first time at Canvey, it was the most pleasant visit of them all. Would highly recommend great staff , very welcoming and filled in all the forms that I've never had before.nDidn't catch the nurses names but going by the forms one name looks like Mariette, than you very much.
I've been for two post operation physio appointments at this health centre and so far so good. There is ample free car parking, which is unheard of at every other NHS establishment. My appointments have been at times that are convenient for me and after checking in at the main reception desk I've been called through within minutes of my appointment time, minimal waiting, brilliant. Ultimately it's the level of care and results from the treatment I've been receiving that's all important and for me its been very good. The physio seems patient and knowledgeable. Obviously I'm only reviewing the physiotherapy department and other areas may differ. If I ever need physio in the future I would definitely choose this centre.
I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Alex from physiotherapy department. From my very first appointment, it was clear that he embodies everything one hopes for in a healthcare professional. His extensive knowledge and expertise instilled confidence, while his attentive and friendly demeanor made me feel genuinely cared for. Dr. Alex took the time to listen to all my concerns, providing clear explanations and ensuring I was comfortable every step of the way. His compassionate approach and dedication to patient well-being set him apart as a true exemplar in his field. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Alex to anyone seeking top-tier medical care
Attended a minor surgery appointment here - very surprised as it seems like a tardis! An unassuming little building from the outside, but a lovely, clean, well-mannered place on the inside!nnWaited around 15 minutes past my appointment time, which was expected, so no fault there. Attended by plastic surgeon Mr. Medhi and two kind nurses I forgot to get the names of. The procedure was painful, but all 3 staff members were incredibly reassuring and tried to keep me occupied with talking, and it was over and done within minutes. I didn't feel rushed, embarrassed, or any of the usual things I tend to get when at appointments like these elsewhere. No nasty bruising or side effects immediately after either.nnAll in all, it was a great experience with reassuring care providers. Thank you!nnP.S. The toilets were impeccably clean, too, without having the strong hospital odour of rubbing alcohol and antiseptic!
