What a place! Stayed here the night before my wedding. Was beautiful and relaxing and the owner, Debbie, could not have been more helpful! Thank you for a wonderful stay and some great memories with my bridesmaids!

What a find! I can not recommend this establishment or its host, Debbie, enough. We stayed in the Indian bedroom, that had idyllic rural views at the back of the house. The bed was lovely and comfortable, the room spotless. It had a cosy home from home feel, not the usual adequate but barren feel you experience in most hotels or b&b. The deep roll top bath was very relaxing, fluffy white bathrobes were provided. Stunning attention to detail such as the stone carving of a woman supporting the basin and various interesting artwork throughout the property was delightful. The beautiful decor had a reassuring, warm, calming effect. A bottle of water, green tea and cafetière were made available in our room, oh and chocolates of course. Breakfast was delicious, set in the open plan living area overlooking a serene charming, quintessential English garden. I normally would have a continental breakfast but was tempted by the choice of cooked breakfasts. We stayed here as we were at a function near High Wycombe. Quite frankly though, this is an ideal romantic getaway destination. There appeared to be plenty of bridal paths in the area. As the city centre was only a 40 min train ride away you could even combine a shopping trip in the city, take in a show and return for a peaceful and restful night sleep. After a long day at work this would be the perfect place to relax and chill out and recharge in readiness for your next working day. We were greeted with a ready smile, from the very accommodating owner and perfect host, Debbie. I have a feather allergy and my partner a dairy allergy so we must have been nightmare clients. However we were made to feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. Even to the point as the emphasis is upon luxury, the bedding was obviously of the down/feather variety. Debbie went out and purchased synthetic bedding for me even though I said I was happy to bring my own. If you are looking to stay in this area for business or pleasure, this is the place to stay. I am looking for an excuse to stay here again soon....
