Stayed one night. Quite nice room, especially for the price. Staff very nice- the TV did not work and over the next hour and a half, they came multiple times until fixed it.nEven offered a one-night-stay voucher for the trouble it did not come through yet, though, but maybe it willnAnyhow, nice stay-will definitely stay again, given the chance.
The reception desk and staff were very helpful. Rooms are clean and reasonable for the price. USB and C charge points didn’t work. Internet connection can be a challenge to set it up. So close to high street shops and restaurants which is a real advantage.
I've never stayed there myself but my wife works in the restaurant there for over 4 years starting out as a chamber maid and promoted to restaurant chef. She is very happy there, the shifts are busy sometimes but there is good team spirit amongst the staff and she loves working for Travelodge.
Overall the hotel is fine if you want something cheap. What wasn’t fine was walking past a group of drug users INSIDE of the hotel on the way to reception shooting up heroin. This sounds dramatic but it’s not. We fully witnessed people doing heroin near the lobby in this hotel - DO NOT come to this hotel if you have young children or have any sense of respect for your safety. Staff at reception just said ‘we are in a rough area’ and gave us a complimentary drink only soft drinks and bottled beer.nnGenuinely the worst place iv ever stayed - I know Wycombe is rough these days but we didn’t expect the hotel to be such a low standard.nnAlso the whole hotel smelt like weed :
Visited often. Most of the rooms have been fine. The staff on desk always seem polite... apart from once when I checked in late at night 11.30pm ish... Otherwise, the manager is very polite and staff are always happy. Since the refurbishment it's much better.
