I couldn't recommend Douglas Allen at Wickford highly enough. Stuart & Jazz made the valuation and viewings so straight forward & didn't put us under any pressure to drop the price unlike other estate agents we've used in the past. Once we'd sold Natasha kept us updated with how the sale & onward purchase were progressing & did lots of chasing on our behalf to keep things moving. Overall their service is absolutely fantastic.
We are currently going through the process of selling & buying a property through the Douglas Allen team at the Wickford Branch. From viewings with Phebi where she was knowledgeable, kind & patient. A very in-depth valuation & advice on listings and the selling process with Alex. Everything was sorted out in a calm relaxing way at home. Expert Mortgage advice came from Andy where he has been clear & helped us understand all our mortgage options. The team have been so kind, professional & helpful so far in supporting us. We are really excited about our new chapter in our new home & can’t wait to carry on the process through to completion with the whole team.
We sold our house through Douglas Allen after using them previously and being impressed. Stuart was great at assessing the market and the value of our home advising us to put it up at the right, achievable price. Selling at an uncertain time with change in government, cost of living crisis etc was unsettling but Stuart and Alex were able to secure viewings and ultimately a couple of offers which lead to our sale. The use of MyDouglasAllen app was brilliant as I could keep track of interest in our house, viewings booked, feedback and offers. Natasha was our post sale point of contact and always available to answer the numerous questions we had to ensure the sale progressed swiftly and smoothly. I can’t fault Douglas Allen and have even recommended them to my parents who are now on the market with them!
Great service provided throughout my purchase of a property. A few times I was waiting on information about properties and a technical issue or two with the website, but other than that, they've provided great customer service and I've received all of the information I have required. The video tour of the property was one of my favourite features on the property listing. It gave a great idea of the layout and size of the place compared to other estate agents that only provide photos.
As a a first time buyer, I was a little nervous however from the start Douglas Allen were friendly and helpful and when showing us around properties they were informative and respectful of the time we wanted to spend looking. They also introduced us to our mortgage broker who I would recommend.
Fantastic and friendly staff. Alex H worked so hard to try and find the right home for me. He listened to what I asked for and went out of his way to call and try to let me see properties quickly. Thank you for great service!

Having used Douglas Allen before it made sense to use the again, found Stuart, Alex and Natasha extremely helpful with what can be a trying time They were always there keeping us updated with the progress of the move. Would recommend them to anybody.
Had a viewing with Terry at a property. Really friendly and answered all my questions and queries I had about the whole process of buying. Definitely would recommend and would use Douglas Allen again in the future.
I must say the experience that I had with Stuart and his team was excellent, I had a few problems and I hasten to add not via the team. The team were there for me helped me through a very stressful time. Following my numerous calls for help Stuart and the team were at the end of the phone with help and a strange word to use but kindness. I must thank Jazz as she was so helpful and professional and got answers for me as quick as she could. Thank you Sue
