Delightful family run place, excellent food and ice cream. Walked past it a lot because it looked mainly like a dessert place from the outside, but they have a full-on menu with lots of delicious savoury items too. Eggs benedict & chicken club sandwich both fantastic. Best rum & raisin ice cream I’ve had in ages. Lots of space to sit inside there’s a whole other area at the back. We will be back!

One of the few independent cafes around the area - and run by a wonderful team. ! They’re welcoming and caring to the comfort of everyone who walks through the door. Cannot recommend it enough.
What a lovely cozy place to eat anytime of the day. Lovely hospitable owners and very welcoming even my dog loves to come with me and he is always welcomed. We have enjoyed the italian icecream and main dishes since 5 yrs ago. And look forward to more visits.
Dominiques Almost opposite Hampstead Heath Overground station and DOG-FRIENDLY Dominique's is a family-run cafe/restaurant at the heart of the local community. There’s street-side seating and a large sky-lit gallery room at the back which you can’t see from the street. If you want a taste of local life this is the closest you’ll get anywhere in the area. Hopefully, you’ll get the same feel at weekends when the place is busier. But if you need to escape the weekend bustle and it looks full from the front, there’s a good chance you’ll have space at the back for kids, dogs and buggy’s. The owner is a nice man with massive smile. He always remembers and welcomes his regular customers. If I’m visiting my dad, I pop in with friends and family for an oat milk cafe latte or the vegetarian dish with delicious rice which has been consistently good throughout the years. While Tarfu*cks etc edge into the street Dominique’s is a Hampstead Heath institution with a personality which will hopefully be preserved forever Vegetarian options: They have had a signature rice and veg dish for years, with Meditteranean/Middle Eastern flavours and is always tasty, very good value for a full and healthy meal Kid-friendliness: Space in the back gallery room

Amazing place overall. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. I would recommend stopping by here for a savory crêpe if you are in Hampstead Heath.
Excellent food and service again. The Persian lamb stew was perfect: moist and lean cubes of delicious lamb in a very subtle sauce with rice & a salad. Excellent valueFood: 5/5
December 2018: I still love coming here like I did when I first wrote my review in 2013. In the meantime, I’ve moved abroad, but every time I come to London I pop back in for my favourite “Persian Lamb Stew”, which is unrivalled in its tenderness and flavour. I’m always made to feel so welcome, no matter how long my absence has been. No London visit is complete without having lunch here! 2013: I’m a fan of Dominique’s delicious brunches and the very heart-warming & lovely service! The French Toast with bacon is a legend. Besides their breakfast menu, they have delicious lunches, sandwiches, casseroles and salads. Another staple in my order is their freshly squeezed orange juice. Seating is mostly inside only 4 outside tables, however there are skylight windows inside, so you'll dine in daylight. I love it!
