Not sure if I got a new unit or they're all that modern, but that was the best hotel room I've ever been in. 1.5 bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, and a washer/dryer. Also had a comfortable couch. It's right next to the station so I could wake up get breakfast and be anywhere in a few minutes.
I came early, asked for early checking willing to pay, the women in the front door was super welcoming and wanted to help but manager said that the early checking is not allow. They offered the luggage room, but I was trying to change my clothes in the toilet available for guest and the cleaning lady literally kicked me out of the bathroom, also she got offended because I asked how long she will take. I think cleaning public toilets at the time of check out, doesn’t make sense to me. I already paid my book but i would prefer pay a little more and have a better service.
Positives Great location ,5 minutes walk to Sloane Square. Great value for money ,we had a refurbished studio on the top floor that had all the basics. Negatives. Even though we were on the top floor , traffic noise echoed at night so there was interrupted sleep. Room could have been a bit warmer. Checking in staff, Keiran and the team were excellent ,they are an asset.
The dirtiest Hotel I've ever stayed in. After I complained they sent us to a top floor pent house. Which was nice. The floor was filthy, stains on the sofa bed still but not as bad as our budget room. shouldn't matter how much money you have you still deserve to sleep in a clean environment. Definitely stay elsewhereRooms: 1/5
This huge hotel is more like an apartment block. The self enclosed studio we had was amazing, you could literally live there. View was superb at night. Being a country lad I always find the city scary and this place was no different but it was a 10 min walk from Harrods and suited our needs perfectly. Only the loss of a star as it was a bit dirty in communal areas and staff weren't attendent but with the size of the place I don't know how they could be.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which had been recently refurbished. Very comfortable. The complex is massive and clearly a bit rundown, with most of the lifts not working. However, it’s a short walk to the tube, there’s a small supermarket 50m away and lots of restaurants a 5-10min walk away. We would stay here again.
The stay was great, very nice people at the reception, always ready to accommodate any request. The apartment looked like it had been recently refurbished, with a well furnished, good sized living room and proper heating. A very good choice for accommodation in South Kensington.Rooms: 4/5
We really enjoyed our two night stay at Chelsea Cloisters. We were able to check in early and we were upgraded to a bigger room when we arrived. As well, at the last minute, we needed to get our boarding passes printed before our flight and the staff was willing and able to help us with this. Would highly recommend staying here. Thank you!
Thanks to the team we had a wonderful time over there! We arrived late at night, and even if we were tired of the journey, they took time for us. Our room was way enough for us, a small kitchen but with everything needed in for example. Always a nice word to say when you get down to the reception. For our check out, it was early in the morning, the staff members were again really supportive and nice with us. The subway is 5 min walking straight. A little local shop is down the hotel so very convenient. A big thank you to the team, and probably will come back.
Don’t even know where to start. There are huge, dirty spots on the carpets on the way to the apartments which indicate the last time this place was cleaned was probably in the Victorian age. In some cases they charge for WiFi who does that anymore in 2023?!, and if they don’t, they provide you with a code which is valid for the whole duration of your stay, but only if you use it with one device. As soon as I entered the studio apartment, the fridge was completely pulled out in the middle of the room, apparently because the cleaning person forgot to pull it back seems quite difficult not to notice an entire fridge in the middle of a tiny room, then I was unable to lock the door from the outside, again apparently due to a forgetfulness of the cleaning person. The cleaning of the room on the second day is just laughable, the bed was barely made and the shower wasn’t cleaned either. Just don’t stay here.
