Fairly standard pub grub, no complaints. Upholstery looking a bit tired and could do with a clean. Beer well kept and good selection of drinks. Huge beer garden, great place for a sunny day.

When we arrived staff completely ignored us. When the lady eventually acknowledged us her first words were 'if you've not booked we've no room': I told her we had booked!. Not a good first impression. Husband had ribs, sent them back they were like leather. Ordered coffee which they forgot to bring. My food was nice (cheese and onion pie) but on the cool side. This place was recommended to us but we won't be returning.

Food took 1 1/2HOURS TO COME they did tell us before we ordered but after that we ordered a sweet went back 3 times to find out when it was coming and told it would be right over 2 hours later told they can't find our order but they have run out anyway. Not impressed

Terrible food. Steak was grissley the chips were cold the salad was just lettuce and few tomatoes. The pepper sauce was literally like water wirh no taste. Sent it back twice and still was like water. Staff were uninterested and said thats the way it comes. I got money back for my meal. My partner is a vegetarian so he had 3 starters so not value for money one small dish of potatoes with sauce on one small didh of nachos and some breaded mushrooms £ 15.00. Whole meal was £ 33.15 for cold rubber steak watery pepper sauce cild chips warmed up in the microwave and 2 drinks for £ 33.15. Overall very disappointed... Wont be going again 😐

Nice place set in the village of Woodhouses. Good choice ofmenu and friendly bar staff. Usually have some kind of offer on...tonight was 2 meals and a bottle of wine for £20. Outside seating in rear beer garden. Large car park with wheelchair/disabled access. All on one level no stairs.
