Well visted shanghai house tonight and I was not disappointed . The staff were friendly the owner was lovely and polite anunty Pauline behind the counter very friendly and the service was Fast and prompt I didn't wait long and they were very busy With phone orders and delivery's. The food was worth the drive from blackley it was hot fresh and plentiful full of flavour worth the money and worth the visit. I definitely will be going back.

Food is lovely normally but waited 2 hours after being told 50 minutes wait, phoned twice and was told its on its way. but sorry be honest and give a proper delivery time. Dont tell lies, going elsewhere in future.
Used this takeaway since it opened, and generally found it to be Ok, However as with many places the standards have slipped. Tonight and for the last time we placed an order, My salt and pepper spare ribs were nothing more than deep fried balls of fat or gristle, swimming in grease. I then had beef Satay with crispy noodles, the beef was a very poor cut of beef boiled and overcooked, rendering it inedible. On phoning the establishment to voice my displeasure, I was constantly asked what do you want me to do eventually he offered to bring out the same meal again, as I ate barely any of the first attempt, this was obviously not an offer I relished. Eventually the manager put the phone down on me. One lost customer, I wouldn't recommend to anybody!
Called in here on the way home last weekend, usually place our orders over the phone & collect, but only one person in before us & they had already been served as they were sat down waiting for their food, how bad would this be? Went to the counter and despite two people being behind it they were too pre-occupied with getting home delivery orders ready, took them over 5 minutes to even acknowledge we were there and take our order. Eventually placed our order, nothing major, big portion of chips, couple of pies and a beef fried rice dish, paid up and waited, and waited....and waited, took over 45 minutes to get our food, not an apology for the length of time taken, people who came in after us yet still left before us were given bags of prawn crackers thrown in free for the delay along with an apology, we got diddly squat - all we really wanted was the apology and acknowledgement we'd been kept waiting, they could have kept their prawn crackers! At stages whilst waiting I was tempted to go and get my money back & go elsewhere, it annoyed me and my son so much how we seemed to have been forgotten whilst waiting, tens of people coming and going inbetween. Left the place freezing cold as no heating on in there, my son was wearing shorts after sports so he really felt the cold too. Food was average at best, never seen fried rice so dark and the beef was chewy, can't really go wrong with chips or bought in pies though, can you? Would I go here again? Maybe at a push, but only if for some freak reason all the other local chippies are closed.
absolutely love the place, foods great- fast service and friendly staff. the boys love a naughty chinese and this ones quality

The food is amazing, we are vegans and the food we have had from here is first class. Highly recommend by us. Delivery is always available and quick friendly service.
