80 million years ago TRex’s and Velociraptors roamed this area, 30 million years ago herds of Mastodon migrated across on their way south, nowadays the occasional local resident will exercise their Corgi’s, Pit Bulls and Jack Russels while the youth of the area market legal opioids. Apart from that it’s just a big flat field.

Good play areas and tidy open spaces but why are cafe and toilets not open after 3pm in the school holidays and the Summer? OK in the winter months perhaps but these facilities would encourage more visitors young and old alike if they stayed open longer. Needs looking at!
