Another great trip to DM yesterday, topped off by a surprise invitation to come behind the bat and make ourselves a free cocktail with tuition from Monty. Always fantastic cocktails in here, a nice chilled vibe, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff and none of the pretentiousness of some other cocktail bars.
One of our group booked a table for 6pm on a Saturday night having previously visited on a weeknight not realising that even at that time the music would already be deafening! So although this isn’t the establishment’s fault, it wasn’t an enjoyable experience; as it was too loud to have a conversation, and it was way too early to start dancing on the tables! Virtually everyone in there was sat looking at their mobile phones, and weren’t conversing either. Perhaps this is normal..?! We had to stay and have a round of drinks, otherwise we would have lost our deposit, so we ended up entertaining ourselves with a game of charades! On a positive note - the staff were lovely, and the cocktails we ordered weren’t too bad either.
We went to Dirty Martini for the bottomless brunch at the weekend and had a great time. There was a big issue however with the service where at points we were waiting 15/20 minutes for a drink which isn't ideal when your on a time restricted brunch- having said that the restaurant was full and there were additional walk in groups at the bar. The thing that saved it though was the absolutely amazing food - everyone in the group absolutely loved it. Instead of a traditional afternoon tea there were sliders, mac & cheese bites, spring rolls etc. Very very yum!
Loved it !! Happy hour is amazing !! Staff are so friendly and happy to help. We even got birthday prosecco, love the angel wings as you go to the toilets.
The drinks and food were great as always, I enjoy dirty martini for brunch. We went in between Christmas and New Year and as far as I could tell there was only one waitress for the whole of downstairs. She was a young with wavy blonde hair and bless her she was run off her feet. She did her absolute best, fab waitress but didnt seem to be getting a lot of support and drinks weren't being brought to us and she kept having to go chase them up.
Came here for bottomless brunch with my bestie, had such a good time! Falaq is so attentive, she couldn’t do enough for us. Kept the drinks flowing and had a beautiful smile on her face while doing it. Credit to the company for sure. Will definitely be coming again
Olivia at Birmingham dirty martini was amazing. Best service she’s so lovely. Went for a birthday celebration and service was rapid, super friendly and no complaints whatsoever. Amazing celebration.

Really great bottomless brunch but purely for the service from Lara. She was so attentive and despite it being really busy, she did so well to look after us and make a birthday celebration brilliant. Great experience and will be back
Great bottomless experience! Friendly server offered us welcome drinks, then we had our food cages. The food was great. The service was fast, overall a great experience
