Would highly recommend this company! Surprised to read some negative reviews since our experience was really good ordered twice. Bought engineered wood flooring for entire four bedroom house including the stairs. Looked at other companies but glad we went with Direct Wood Flooring. Even thought we don't live locally, visited East London showroom twice and experienced a great customer service all way through. Staff is very knowledgeable, not pushy. Good range of flooring to suit various budgets and tastes. Quality products, also reasonably priced. Delivery was prompt and hustle-free. So was the collection since we had two packs left fee of charge unlike with other companies. Would definitely use again!
Waited for my laminate 1.5 months and in delivery date they call me and said I have to wait another month, looks like they resale my order. I have all confirmation from delivery company about they picked up my order and in delivery date in the morning they text me something go’s wrong. I spoke with team no one give me answer what happened. Don’t recommend this store anyone!!!
Good qualify flooring and excellent customer care! I would certainly recommend this company and purchase from them again in the future. Quick delivery even during the Covid19 lockdown and they collected left over unopened packages for free. Thank you
During lockdown, being stuck in your house I kept finding things to change and my bedroom floor was one of them! I used their website and got a couple of free samples sent to me to see which one I like. I Chose Loft - Dark Grey laminate flooring and I'm in love! Was simple to order and arrived in good time.
Excellent customer service always from Saleha and Isabel at the Thurrock store. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful with both before and after sales. I would give them 7 stars! I would highly recommend buying from Direct wood flooring in Thurrock!
I have had excellent customer service from Saleha at the Thurrock store, she really has gone above and beyond with providing me with assistance in store, and following up with updates via email and telephone calls to enable me to take my time and make the right decision on what wooden flooring to select. I am extremely pleased with my choice of solid oak flooring from the large selection of options, this was a carefully considered purchase as it was expensive outlay, but well worth the cost as it certainly is a investment piece that will enhance my home.
I don’t usually leave reviews. However this company for the quality of its product and the great customer service I have received deserves a special thank you. My wife and I went to this store as a last minute decision and we arrived with about half an hour left till close on a Sunday afternoon. The young lady who ended up serving us was occupied with another couple but kept reassuring me and my wife that she would get to see us. We had made a 40 min car journey up to Thurrock so that we could speak to someone face to face. Saleha worked passed closing hours on a Sunday to help us order our wonderful flooring. The ease of the whole process also the great customer service that I have received in store and over email has just been a pleasure. I will definitely always go back in the future to DWF Thurrock and highly recommend them!
Don't usually write reviews but really felt I had to here as I've never in my life experienced such poor customer service. I have ordered over £2k of flooring earlier this year and had a few problems with the flooring see details below. However, the response from DWF has been woeful, despite me reaching out to them on multiple occasions. They have replied asking for exactly the same information 3 times and have promised a few times that someone from the customer service management team would call but this has never happened - despite me following up. The initial order and deliver were fine but I've had several issues with the flooring itself EvoCore Essential range, which included the floor randomly lifting up in places, imperfections being felt and seen in the floor and several scratches being made - all of which are contrary to the advertised features of the product ie scratch resistant, no need to acclimatise, hides imperfections. However, my main complaint is on the absolute poor and shocking customer service provided - not even 1 phone call back to me, despite the multiple promising and the £2k+ spent on flooring. Will definitely not go back or recommend to anyone considering a floor - go elsewhere!!
Every horror story you here about online wood floor companies comes to fruition with this company. The bait and switch samples, terrible unmatched/unexpected filler and terrible after service, in which staff are trained to say "OK" and then nothing else. Wasted £4k, pursuing with card company and small claims court. And Ellie, to respond to your comment below - I have received an email from you this morning. Requested and received samples very quickly. I visited the store and received invaluable help from the staff. Great flooring selection fairly priced.
