The showroom Lakeside staff were very reluctant to answer technical questions such as 'what are the kitchen doors made of? etc.... They just were there to book a designer appointment who then visits your home doing the hard sale. To our greatest surprise the designer who came to visit us didn't hesitate one minute claiming the doors were made of real solid wood, when challenged he said he was 100% sure and promised, when in fact the showroom staff kept saying wood effect wasn't sure why... After he left I asked to speak on the phone to the manager of the showroom and asked again what the doors were made of for that particular Kitchen model (Cranford and Alderley) and he indeed confirmed they are made of a wrap-around laminate wood effect, which is very similar look to painted wood..... Which brought me to the conclusion that the designers will tell you anything to have sign contract. BEWARE!!!! Downwhill slope from there.
