I needed to take my mother to hospital and back today so had 2 separate taxis from Dragon and both tomes they were on time and the drivers were both very polite and helpful. Also Dragon were happy for me to request a saloon car as my mother cannot climb into their black cabs. I would be happy to recommend Dragon to anyoneService: Limousines
Great taxi service. You may have to wait between 7-10 minutes for most cab request and then the time it takes the assigned cab to get to you my vary from about one minutes to several minutes so it is advisable to book your ride well in time. Most drivers are experienced and take great care when driving. I recommend.
The driver was lovely! I got you help him with his child's first school application. First child, I went through all the same pain so I'm glad we could help each other! Brilliant service, lovely man! All the best to him and his family
Yesterday lunchtime we booked a taxi to pick us up later that evening from a party at a Newport hotel. Taxi was almost an hour late! There was no apology, just said they were busy! Why book a taxi if they turn up when they like! I'd never rely on them to take me to get a bus or train!
Haven’t had a great experience with them. The taxi came promptly as I explained it was an emergency but he couldn’t find our house? It’s so easy to find using Google maps, I can’t see how he would get lost. It meant that he was 10 min late picking my husband up. Their phone system is strange too, the driver called me to try and find the street but he could not hear me, I get the impression the call was being redirected from their offices main number rather than him calling me directly from his phone. It caused me a great deal of stress as I was in work and could not help him find my house to pick up my husband. Plus, it was ridiculously expensive for a very short trip, I get the feeling he was lost on purpose so they could charge us more. I would only use them again if absolutely desperate.
Before I get into the details folks, please take this advice. DO NOT PRE PAY FOR YOUR BOOKING!!! I know it might seem easier, but when these clowns don't turn up you'll be pleased you didn't. Pre booked a taxi to be collected from Cardiff bay back to Newport. We had children at home being looked after by a sitter. 45 minutes after pick up was scheduled I'm still on the phone with what can only be described as "the worst customer service I've ever experienced". Being told 15 minutes over and over again means nothing. I was then passed to a dead line and was hung up on. 1 full hour later still with no sign of a driver, another taxi driver took pitty on us and brought us home. Needless to say when I had a notification pop up saying your driver is waiting for you, I quite enjoyed mugging it off. Don't use this firm. Including this review and all the ones in the last 6 months they are all pretty similar. No pick ups when booked, bad service, lack of communication. Save yourself the time and effort, just use other local firms. Speak to any other taxi driver and none of them have anything positive to say about dragon.
Inconsistent fares, usually pay £13-£14 for my journey to work. Booked taxi today and it’s £16.20 for same journey, no explanation for price hike at all when I call the office. Will be using cheaper provider won’t be using dragon again
I booked at taxi late afternoon for 1.10 am .. I had a mega bus to catch ... I rang at 1.15 to say my ltaxi hadn't arrived yet which to his reply we have no1 available right now..... I had no contact between 4pm and 1am to let me know ... I missed my coach and need to get to London for my us embassy appointment had to book another coach 60pound extra as I was late for my first coach .... disappointed I will not be using dragon taxis again. The driver was lovely and drove fast but still not acceptable, they knew I wanted a taxi at least 8 hours before hand.
Quick arrival.friendly drivers.clean cars can't ask for much more. Only slight issue is the automated voice does not recognise some words and cannot add specific collection point such as pick up from cash point at a supermarket but they do ring back to say the vehicle has arrived so no big deal.Service: Limousines
If I could rate less than a 1 I would. Booked a taxi for 05.05am at 07.3ppm the night before. Waited until 20 past and still didn't turn up, I called up to see where it was and was told it would be another 2p minutes!! Absolutely abismal customer service, "not my problem" attitude, it's like 1 degrees out, freezing cold and refused to do anything. 0/10 would NEVER recommend
