I'm looking at the other reviews and it's like I stayed somewhere else! The views are lovely, for sure, but then they would be anywhere around this area. We were charged £28 for the night for the two of us in a campervan with hook up. Easily the most expensive we've stayed at. The shower oscillated between boiling hot and freezing cold, so I had to wait until it went freezing cold for 30 seconds to wash my hair. You are only allowed 3 minutes per shower! The toilets are always wet on the floor and the times I visited there was toilet paper all over the floor. We paid for two nights up front. On the first day we went off to the beach and when we came back someone else had pitched up in our spot! They had been told they could, even though our wind break, electric hook up line and camper step were there. They don't allocate pitch numbers, they just go by the amount of pitches they have. The staff are lovely..it's just everything else! Pop down the road and stay at Windmill Hill campsite. Cheaper, cleaner and the showers are so much better.

Level pitches and plenty of space. Kitchen facilities as well as the usual shower and toilet block. The staff were lovely, and really helpful and accommodating. Good location between Tenby and Stackpole areas. Several good places to eat in Llamphey, the nearby village. Highly recommended.

It could have been a 4.5, but no option for that, so erred on the side of positive. A great site in a great location. We have stayed Camping with hook-up (needed for phone/vape/torch/other stuff charging , and had the bonus of running an electric blanket, most welcome in late March) and also in a Pod. Good location. Good pub (Dial in) 15 mins walk away serving reasonable drinks and good food. Train station only 20 mins walk for hassle free access to Penally, Tenby, Narberth, etc. and useful for longer walking expeditions. Bus route through lamphey too. Close to lots of beautiful locations, Tenby, Saundersfoot, Amroth, Colby, Barafundle, Freshwater, Stackpole, Bosherton, Carew, the list goes on. There is an amazing bakery in the village too - try to find it if you can, its opposite the entrance to the railway station down a little lane - not easy to find but well worth it. The petrol station in the village has a Spar shop, and you can get most day to day bits and bobs there (the logs were cheaper there, but the charcoal was rubbish, and you have to carry it if not driving). Having stayed out of season I could imagine that the loos might be a bit hectic when the site is busy, and one of the sinks in the gents isn't really in a good place. Free use of kitchen very useful for early morning brew as a couple of times it was too cold for my butane stove to create my early morning reviver. Plenty of water taps about, and site very clean. Bit of a pain not being able to park by the tent / hut, but understandable, as site would quickly turn to a mud bath due to how the soil is there. Very quiet location, with only the clickety clack of a train every other hour during the day, and some occasional traffic. Lots of bird song to hear, including Buzzards during the day and Owls (Barn, Tawny and little) at night, with the stream bubbling away nearby. on still nights it is possible to hear the sea in the distance at Freshwater. The Pods are really very good, and out of season so much easier than a tent. They are not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, as you need to climb up to the bed. However, they are very well insulated, and have two opening windows and a door so ventilate well. Power sockets help feed all of modern lifes bits and bobs. Chill on the deck in the evening and watch the sun set. Only issue with the pods is that the loos are a bit of a stroll: this is not such an issue when camping, but when paying extra for a pod closer facilities would be nice. All in all recommended for a stay - if you have any issues raise them with the site staff and they usually get sorted quickly.

Really enjoyed our camping trips here

Good site - level, good views, short walk to a decent pub that serves meals. Some nice touches - e.g. veg from their garden available for a donation of your choosing. Would be excellent if the washing up and washing facilities were improved. Only 2 sinks in the kitchen and 2 sinks in the men's toilet block - one of which is unusable as it would involve standing directly in front of the door that opens directly into the space you occupy to use the sink. There are 2 fields, one with electric hook-up, one without. Each has 2 portaloos in addition to the main toilet block for men and women. The portaloos had no toilet roll in for the last 2 days of our stay. With a little more investment and a little more attention to minor details such as this, I would whole-heartedly recommend this site.
