Beautiful little Haven in a less than spectacular estuary. Quiet and peaceful and the café food is excellent if a little expensive. I expect the place to be crammed in the summer, although there is some outdoor seating.

We hired bikes for the day, which was great value.  Not enough bikes for our entire party, however, (12) so will have to deduct a star from what would otherwise be a great value day out, at £10 per bike per day.  They are apparently getting more bikes for next year, so I will upgrade to 5 then!

A little gem of a marina with plenty for the less nautical to do too. A nice little cafe provides a great place to sit and watch the world go by. Free parking (for cars) too. The marina has most of the facilities you'll need and is very sheltered being tucked up the steep sided valley of the Westfield Pill creek. Fuel and chandlery are available from Dale Sailing who have a fuel pontoon just before the marina itself.
