The central camping area is well provided with facilities - even fridges and freezers - but as you venture further from the centre, well-tended grassy paths lead you off on endless secluded adventures: the size of the overall site is huge! A flooded quarry affords the option to explore by canoe, and the tidal river access even permits some sailing, out across the salt marshes to the main river estuary. Venturing off the site it's a fairly short walk to Carew, where you can visit the castle and tide mill. Note: they only take cash at the campsite true as of July '21, so be sure to bring some to pay for your stay."},{"text":"I was blown away by this place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers are spotless, the grounds are well looked after. It is truly a little Paradise. Well worth the 6 hour journey. I will be back in a couple of weeks."},{"text":"An awesome gem tucked away in the middle of nowhere, the staff are amazing and on my second stay even remembered my name , the other campers are also really friendly, and the amenities are spotless, loads of space to roam around and explore , there are even kayaks and rowing boats that you can take out on the lagoon ,and a well stocked supply of firewood free of charge for the communal fire pit in the evenings , I can't express just how great this place is ."}]
