Lovely place!! The food is amazing. And the staff are lovely. Can't say a bad word. You guys will get there being open a couple of weeks your doing so well . Keep up the good work.Food: 5/5
Fantastic food, delicious, good quality and very tasty . Great place to sit and relax while having a lovely latte whilst waiting for our food to come out. Friendly staff even though you were busy and had some new staff working. You all pulled together as a team and did a great job. Highly recommended and we will be back soon. Vegetarian options: You can mix and match any of the menu to suit your needs. Dietary restrictions: They do vegan, gluten free, dairy free. Good selection. Kid-friendliness: Good with children, patient and have delicious milkshakes and can do anything on the menu in bite size for the young ones.
Came in my mum on opening day in Sadlergate. It was very busy and there were new staff learning the ropes but the atmosphere was jolly, the staff amazingly polite and helpful and the food took a little longer as we expected but it was absolutely delicious. We’ve been in since and the food was equally good and quicker but not rushed. It’s a great place
Great food in a lovely atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. Can't recommend this place highly enough. It's going to become a regular haunt for us.Food: 5/5
Whilst I really wanted to enjoy a local place like this I unfortunately cannot recommend. SERVICE - The people taking our order were not co-ordinated, and never wrote the orders down so people were getting the wrong food. - It took us about an hour total for our food to arrive, of which we had drank through our massive teapot of tea already. We only ordered tea for 2 and 2 oatcake meals. - People next to us waited almost 20 minutes to get seen to. - We had to walk through what we ordered with the waitress again when it came to pay. - Payments were taken through phone RFID rather than a proper, professional card machine. FOOD & DRINK - We tried the Derbyshire tea which was nice, good for folks who like a more delicately flavoured tea. - The oatcake wraps we had were alright, but nothing to shout home about. The steak in mine was particularly tough and hard to chew. - There were no condiments available on the table, not even any salt & pepper shakers. - Our oatcake wraps were £8 and £9 respectively, and we feel they were a bit pricy for what we got. ATMOSPHERE & FACTILITIES - Booths and tables were made of a lovely wood, nice and smooth. - Toilet facilities weren't quite up to scratch. No bin in the toilet cubicle or the sink area. No mirrors in front of the sink and nowhere to dry your hands. Until some of these issues are fixed I don't think I'll feel the urge to visit again, and instead I will just buy a packet of 5 pycelets to eat at home from the downstairs shop.
I like places that are a little different, and this certainly is. Local delicacies of pyclets and oatcakes served with imaginative, flavoursome toppings. The food is beautiful and the staff are friendly and welcoming.Food: 5/5
It was lovely I had the berries and cream customer service was great the atmosphere of the place was so calming and lovely staff were sure to make sure that everything was up to my standards will definitely be eating here again.very happy with the outcomeFood: 5/5
We went when it first opened at the new premises. Lovely food brilliant prices. We will definitely be going back again soon. We're very glad to have this place so close and right in the centre of the city.
So welcoming, a lovely little gem above the Derby Uncovered trove of Local products. Very friendly staff and a well presented seating area. My first try of a Pyclet was lovely with fruit and nutella plus a pot of Derbyshire tea which I got two and a bit cups from! Nothing was too much trouble and would thoroughly recommend.Food: 5/5
Great to just drop in and buy the pyclets from the front of the new Derby Uncovered shop. Thanks again to Katie for good service and cheerful approach. Recommended!Food: 5/5
