Story

Spend time with us for great pub food in a place you'll love. We serve classic dishes with a modern twist - it's the perfect place to get together with familly and friends. The Derby Lodge is a converted Manor house which was previously the Lord Derby's hunting estate. We boast a large & beautiful beer garden to the rear of the building, which overlooks a golf course. We're proud of our fresh, seasonal pub food menu and you'll be in safe hands with our friendly and experienced staff - many of them have worked here for 10 years or more! Plus, we're close to the Albert Dock, the Beatles Story and Anfield and Goodison so there's plenty to keep the family entertained!

Food very good,good choice of menu,s staff very good. plus rewards card can give you up to 40per cent off main menu or sometimes 40percent off all food and mums can eat Sunday lunch free.

Average quality food, slow service, forgetful serving staff forgot to bring the steak sauce and the onion rings. Ribs tasted dry and the chicken breast even drier. These are pub staples - could do much better.

Random night out for dinner with a friend   great service from our waitress polly. Friendly and efficient  ordered mixed grill and chicken burger followed by gin and tonic trifle. Tasty food  and highly recommended

Late decision to go out.. To our surprise a table was available!!!
Good food, fast and friendly service.. A place to return to!
