Had a tooth extracted today by Miss Scott who was amazing, very reassuring and calmed my nerves. Yes I had to wait a few months for appointment but had antibiotics, xray and extraction for less cost than a 2 minute check up with a private dentist. Receptionist was also very helpful when my daughter was suffering from tooth ache and even called my her dentist to insist they saw her.
I rang at 8.30am on Monday morning after suffering all weekend, I had been removed from the list at my own dentist. Receptionist was very helpful and I was given an appointment at 10am despite the clinic being very busy. I was seen by very kind and friendly dentist and assistant, had my tooth removed and out by 10.30am. Thanks to all of the staff at the Gaol Street Dental centre. Phil Andrews.
Awful. Point blank refused to help. This receptionist was less unpleasant than the one in Asda, however. I feel this one did try to help, unlike the one in Asda who was abrupt, dismissive and rude. Was lovely to get hold of my own dentist eventually who could tell how upset I was and soothed me immediately. I wouldn't have asked if I wasn't desperate. It's been a fair few years since I have been made to feel so worthless.
After ringing three dentists ,including our own, 111 and Asda dental access centre,Gaol street was our last hope! Thankyou so very much for arranging for my husband to get to see a dentist so quickly.He now has lots of antibiotics to tackle the infection.We didn’t get your name but we are really very grateful
Honestly terrible. I was told to call at 9am & have been left on hold multiple times. It almost seems as if the phone lines are completely off. I’m disgusted. Getting a dentist appointment is harder than flying to mars at this point.
i was given an emergency dental appointment on Friday 1st July and i was made to feel at ease from the moment i arrived. Receotionist was very friendly. the dentist was so kind and he and his assistant even made sure my sugar levels were good before starting. All in all i was very happy, Thank you, Ann Martin
Went this morning after awful toothache, I can't thank them enough. Very professional, talked me through the procedure & what she was about to do. Fabulous
I had an emergency tooth out. The dentist was absolutely amazing. I was very nervous. She took the time too explain everything and answer all my questions. She put up with me acting like a complete baby fear of needles could not fault the service. Unfortunately didn't get the lady's name, but i do know she was Scottish. Really good dentist. Thank you for making a horrible experience, really not too bad!
I was fitted in for an appointment at very short notice on a Saturday late morning to repair a broken tooth, which had also caused my tongue to become ulcerated after cutting and scratching against it. Reception staff were welcoming. The Dentist I saw was friendly and reassuring, explaining everything before and during the procedure. I was very happy with the treatment I received.
STAY AWAY FROM HERE. Butchers not dentists. Had a wisdom tooth removal and it was the most traumatic experience of my entire life, and I've been in intensive care for a week before. That was nothing compared to my experience here. They broke my tooth and then spent 45 digging the rest of it out. Dentist putting his entire body weight on my chest with one hand and pulling with the other hand. I also ended up with a small fracture on my bottom jaw. 7 months later and the wound is still infected and I am living on painkillers and antibiotics. I cant stress enough how awful this place is. I would never go here even in another emergency. I've forwarded a complaint to the CQC and NHS England. Zero aftercare.
