This place is beautiful. Lovely surroundings and very peaceful. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are spot on. Clean and roomy with iron and ironing board.  Tea and coffee making in room. The food is out of this world. Food for all tastes.

Loved it. The WW1 trench experience tour is worth the extra charge. Our guide, Howard, was very engaging and knowledgeable. Kids had a great time in the play area. Great weather helped to enhance the beautiful location. Fab day out.

I cannot fault this place, the staff are so friendly, the rooms are very comfortable clean and fresh towels daily, the food exceptional, catering for every taste. The surroundings are beautiful, very reasonably priced for what you get. Well done we will be back.

After a great first visit a few years ago this was our second visit, rooms and some attractions closed this time around, won't be visiting again. Would still recommend if you haven't been before.

Brilliant day wandering around the castle and grounds, especially the WW1 trenches tour which was very informative and enjoyed by our grandchildren and us.
