Wonderful staff and wonderful food. The service was impeccable and it seemed the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simple but lovely and the amount of toast you get (sourdough) is impressive. The orange juice is fresh and lovely, as is the decor. Furthermore, there is a deli shop with butchers and various other amenities. This place is a gem and I would totally recommend to travellers and locals alike.

We have been this place many times over the years but more recently, we have been for breakfast a couple of times. Both times it has been very busy and both times we have been given a great seat. Not only this but, the Maitr'd (guy with the goatee and glasses) was wonderful. Not only was he courteous and helpful, he genuinely went out of his way to make us feel welcome. More importantly he was great with our baby. This place has great food and lovely staff. Totally recommended for locals and visitors alike, if not a little outside of the city center.

One of my favourite places to eat when visiting Liverpool. It's a bit of a secret and definitely worth traveling outside the city centre for. Excellent Deli and shop too.

I don't know whether they have changed the chef since the last time I visited which was Burns night last year, because I wasn't too impressed with my full English breakfast. The plate contained an awful lot of grease/oil which was off putting and if you like your egg yolks soft but cooked on the top then make sure you ask them to flip the eggs when you order your breakfast. My eggs were not cooked on top so I asked the waiter to ask chef to cook the top of the egg. Off he went with my breakfast and returned a minute or two later with my eggs in the same condition as when they left! I gave up.

5 of us went for a roast here today. The portion sizes were terrible. We were given 2 small plates of veg for all 5 of us and we resulting in half a piece of broccoli each! In the end we asked for another plate of veg making it 1 piece each. To be honest, the food was average at best with equally small portions of meat. For £15, I expect to be full after a roast. Places like 'slims pork chop express' on Seal Street do an exceptional Roast for the same price. Don't go to Delifonseca for a roast.
