This place has so much potential!!! The machines are amazing lots I've never used before watson machines and weights are great. Huge gym great range of equipment and supplements in shop However... a lot of machines are broken faulty, need new upholstery, and missing weight stack pins need out of order signs The male changeing rooms are grim and need serious maintenance, cleaning wouldn't use doors missing from toilets, shower and cleaning equipment left there The staircase handrail wasn't attached at bottom the floor has broken in places similar to potholes Lack of staff only one member of staff who was on reception no member of staff on gym floor resulting in it being untidy and unsanitary I truly believe this could be one of the best gyms in the UK if the above was rectified and standards help, managed better.
Our favorite gym of all time though sadly it seems to be rolling downhill at pace. Over 50% of the machines are missing pins and carabiners and theres no dual attachments for pulldown and row cable exercises. The upholstery is falling apart in lots of places, cable loops are broken with exposed metal fibers and the overall feel of the gym is in disrepair. Dedicated has long held the mantle if best gym in the North/UK but its very quickly being threatened due to this lack of maintenance. We'd love to see it back to its full potential!
Great gym, lots of equipment and body specific machines to target muscle groups. Busy but never too busy and open 24 hours meaning you can never really miss a workout. Also recently found out that they have Sauna in the changing rooms.
Your changing room at Hyuton doesn't even look like a proper changing room. It's just a closet with a hoover and other cleaning stuff you don't know where to keep. It's always have dirty floors. The lockers are broke, no keys to keep the stuff safe. Not enough space/benches to seat. It took you over a year to fix the taps, and now there is no cold water. Terrible changing room, the worst one I'vee seen in Liverpool so far. Please note, im talking about the changing room only. The equipments are very good, I enjoy working out at your place,but your changing room .... you need to do something about it. I've been a member of the gym over 2 years now, and it seems like you have given up on the gym in Hyuton the changing room.
Spent £10 on a day pass - big gym with plenty of machines and weights- shame most of its broken/unusable as pins missing and cables are broken. Equipment that you can use squeaks really loud and is irritating. Gym and changing rooms are dirty and not maintained- won't be returning.
I went here via the hussle app pass. I was expecting something much smaller however was very surprised to see a large amount of equipment. Massive variety of strength equipment. Good cardio options. 2 separate rooms for freestyle and boxing. Nice clean Ladies facilities newly refurbished with sauna, hair dryers and straighteners. Some refurbishment still to compete and spare equipment and machines to tidy up. There is a shop at the front selling protein and energy drinks and snacks. Parking was not a problem. Handy for the M62/M57 access.
Paid the BOGOF in one installment have been twice and a good chunk of the equipment is broken or very poorly maintained the amount of money for the membership certainly doesn't show in the quality of the gym equipmentat the moment I hope they have plans to fix this, not fair at all really I've paid good money and expected better service than this.
All the equipment you could hope for, and then some. Staff really friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Will be visiting again very soon
I’m not overly confident in the gym and was made to feel really welcome, staff chatted to me as I went in and left and showed me where stuff was. Keys for lockers are complementary. Super friendly- People helped me get the plates down stored at the top of the squat rack I’m not exactly tall so this was a massive help. Machines are great- wide variety not seen in regular gyms- hip thrusts and deadlift machines are great for people like me who aren’t overly confident in free weights. My only complaint as a rower is that the website says there are rowing machines and there aren’t any. If there were rowing machines I’d be jumping at a membership as it would be everything I need in one place!
Entered in their gym for the first time on 26/7/2017 I'm in love! A wide range of specialist customs-made fixed machines!! Incredibly unique design and give you a PROPER serious workout and I could feel my WHOLE muscles! Seriously it gave me a great ache in the next day! Didn't see much of staffs around but they managed to smile in a positive manner. Even me a gym owner. He's so laid back and easy to talk to! One BIG problem is.... I wish I live near this gym! I'm from West Yorkshire in Halifax! I will be 100% definitely coming back! The Green House is the best! All the best!
