They don't have free parking I got a 277 pound fine for staying over 3 hours and 15 minutes and a CCJ record. Because of this parking fine I lost a 200k house mortgage. No cold water after the sauna, no gymnastic rings and the place are well-used and narrow. Auris
Great value for money. Staff are pleasant. Signs everywhere, both inside AND outside the gym stating where you CAN park. Always clean considering the level of membership accessing it. The only reason I've not given it 5 stars is that they take too long to fix broken equipment, and some is a little outdated.
Ok equipment. they took the best machines out of the gym and replaced them with worse ones when it changed from Ben dunnes gym. The timer in the sauna has been missing for months it’s been reported. They don’t care. I think they expect you to go and buy 1 yourself. No cold shower once you get out the sauna either. You’ve got to sit in the changing rooms for half hour to cool down.
I started to come this place at jun 2019. Actually that times was better and more cleaner than today. I am dissapointed about cleaning of showers and sauna. Also the profile of customers changed. Some of them are so rude. Some of them dont wear anything in man dress room and sauna. This is disgusting. Probably i will leave from this club end of this club and i will go more expensive place then here. Sorry
This gym was okay, managed to get a decent session in but not the best place to train for me personally. They've got a lot of equipment packed into a relatively small space and the layout isn't great. It was also unbearably warm, not sure what those aircon units were actually doing! Manager was nice and it's a good location so it's a bit of a shame really.
Pros: -Great equipment - Parking space Cons: - Gym is usually full/ no space - Poor ventilation/ low air quality
Avoid go there. Horrible stink. All machine are damage . So busy any time. No car park. Dirty place. Never ever use this place. Trust me.
£100 parking fine after no advertising that you could not park in the car park, worst gym I've been to in my life
Pros free weight section is perfect. Friendly and helpful staff Other customers are friendly Locker rooms are clean and secure Shower is good Cons Tooooo busy and gets tight even at off peak times. In the free weight section the benches are not spaced out so you will be on top of your neighbours. They only have one machine for each and should be 2 of each. Not 247 which is a main problem for me. Sometimes i work nights and i like head straight to the gym when I finish at 5am. Closes at 22.00 so that's the reason why it's busy. Price! I was scammed! Said £19.99 no joining then surprise surprise at the checkout they included a £10 joining fee!!! Summary. I'm comparing this gym to THEGYM by the Albert Docks. Even tho the free weight section is poor and tight. The Other sections are spaced out nicely. Its 247, its cheaper and less busy. 2/3 of each machine and nice scenery.
Not a gym person but this one finally got me to stick with it. Good range of equipment plus studio, spin studio, changing rooms with showers and a sauna. Shout out to my PT Chrissie for putting up with me!
