Have had GREAT experiences here. Want to specifically congratulate Sue on her customer service in the bra fitting department she was very lovely and understanding with me and my friend and gave us some great advice. 10/10 will come here for bras and other underwear in future.
Went to till to purchase an item today. There was no queue and 3 sales assistants behind the till unfortunately none of them seemed keen to take my money. They were deep in conversation asked if I could pay for something and one said yeah in a minute ! When she finally finished her conversation she scanned item no apology for keeping me waiting. No wonder Debenhams are struggling
Always loved Debenhams, this store has been scaled down, so some of the floors are a little empty, although they had the product I was looking for...it is such a shame some of the big brand names have gone but the staff are fantastic, so helpful and cheerful which is amazing, as the debenhams future are very uncertain at the moment. ..
The store has been looking very tired and sparsely stocked recently and couldn't help thinking it was going to close. But today the shop looked as good as it did in the old days. Lots of new stock. Great Christmas feeling and discreet renovations being carried out. What a wonderful surprise!
We visited Debenhams to see Michelle Personal Shopper and we weren't disappointed at all. She made finding a dress for a wedding pleasurable rather than stressful whilst having a cup of tea and a chat. You really can't beat her friendly yet professional customer service - which is a rare quality to have these days!
Went in for a sample for foundation for me and my sisters. Tommy our sales assistant was lovely knowledgeable, funny and soooo patient, even though it was busy, and we ended up buying 2 foundations. Best customer service ever.
Went to buy euros, after looking on line for best deal only to find that it was shut due to the cashier not being well. Phone number on window to call but no answer. Just glad l had not paid on line before going and was not actually leaving for my holiday. Not great and no one at Debenhams to help. No wonder they are going down the pan.
#For a long time I have been complaining about the terrible state of the toilets on top floor. Thought it great that 2 new ones were opened near to Costa Coffe but guess what!!!! One of them has been out of order for at least 2 months. No wonder Debenhams are closing down, they simply don't care about their customers.
Lots and lots of bargains to be had. If your going away in the winter months swimwear is so so cheap in the sales. Ascot next year.? Now is the time to buy your dress. The staff were helpful polite and cheerful considering the uncertainty of their future with this store
Many coffee shops linking to indoor Food Court. Currently all stuff on sale so worth a look. Level access to all floors. Loses a point for sad atmosphere. Gains one for willing staff. Bit weak on menswear but good seasonal variation of stock.
