Although the location has changed a few times, Cartoon Shop has been in Basildon for as long as most people can remember. For many, it's one of the only places in the county you can get comics. Others go there for other collectibles like cards and figures. 
Some long -term customers now bring new generations along, so it should keep going for as long as the owner can.

I love it I go there every week, the people are so nice and welcoming the prices are great and its not to far away for me. I highly recommend going there.

Though the shop is small and rather out of the way, the manager is a nice, knowledgeable guy. Nice shop overall.

John is a friendly guy who clearly knows his way around the geekdom. His prices are very reasonable, for the most part. The Cartoon Shop is a Basildon establishment, and I hope long may it continue to be!
