I visited the store today where I purchased two or three items on the second floor. I have recently had spinal surgery and was wearing my neck collar. The baking trays which I had bought were very heavy in my bag ( ordinarily the weight would not have seemed excessive) and I was struggling. A very kind young lady store assistant approached me to see if she could ease my burden in any way. My problem was to get myself safely onto the downward bound escalator. The very kind young lady saw me safely down two escalator flights and I wish I had taken note of her name in order to give her the recognition which she deserved. All I can say is it was about 3pm, the young lady was quite tall and thank you very much.

Just like to name and praise Debbie and Sandra in Debenhams at Workington for all their help when we went to buy suits for our daughter's wedding, nothing was too much trouble, think we had nearly every shirt out of it's packet. Big thankyou girls for all your help and making us feel so welcome xx

A very small, but quite well stocked store. No delivery service available though..... so don't buy anything or you'll be carrying it home yourself.

Not a fan of Debenhams nationally but this branch is excellent. Spacious, well stocked and plenty of helpful staff. The Cafe is rather soulless but with the most fantastic view. A real hidden gem.
