Drover over from Nottinghamshire for our first time visit tonight and we had the 10 course tasting menu. Was absolutely beautiful, lovely location/scenery, very well laid out inside with quality decor and the food was fantastic. Our servers were very hardworking and attentive. Absolutely lovely, all dishes were absolutely beautiful, so tasty, service was exceptional. I enjoyed it so much have already re-booked to take my mother for her birthday. This as always been my most favourite restaurant, and it never disappoints, would highly recommend, if you want beautiful food, exceptional service and a lovely atmosphere
I came for a solo lunch whilst visiting Derby and opted for the 7 course tasting menu. Each course was delicious, generous in portion size and full of interesting flavours. The highlights for me were the snacks, salmon and the coronation chicken. The service was extremely attentive and polite which enhanced my overall experience.Food: 5/5

Absolutely fantastic service with a clean but cosy atmosphere and lovely views over the river. Yummy leek and potato starter we both could of licked our bowls, mains beetroot wellington and roast chicken were also nice however portion size was scary for myself roast chicken that I could only manage 1/3 of my plate. Think I could of feed 3 people with the amount I had.
Really nice meal here. We went for the 7 course tasting with a flight of wines, and it was delicious. They were kind enough to let us have a half-size flight for the wines including charging half price because we didn't want to overdo the alcohol. The food was well presented and we had plenty to eat. Salmon dish was really good, and we particularly enjoyed the lamb too.
A lovely restaurant set at the side of the river in Derby. The sun terrace is excellent. Good service and an excellent menu in the spacious dining area.Food: 5/5
A really nice restaurant. We went for breakfast and I wish we could have had dinner there too. The Eggs Royale was delicious. The poached egg was cooked to perfection and the hollandaise had a great balance of savoury flavour with a tang and creaminess. Our server, Rob was very helpful, very attentive and all the staff made us feel valued and welcome. We had a great view of the river and the restaurant is very nicey decorated. Would love to go back.

Me and my boyfriend came here for a celebratory meal. The feel is casual fine dining, and the atmosphere is lovely. Relaxed but still feels special. We had the a la carte menu, and it’s was beautiful! The beef was so tender and cooked to perfection. The staff were really friendly too. We love the decor classy Art Deco type theme, and having a drink on the Terrance by the water is lovely. Faultless! Will be returning for sure!!
