Dapper is a new grooming and aesthetics salon on Ealing Broadway, a hybrid of a traditional gentleman's barbershop and modern men´s and ladies hairdressers. The Dapper Clinic offers facial aesthetics and laser hair removal for both men and women. All in all, we provide all the services you need to make you look the best you can look.

I have been to this place a couple of times and they have been very good at assisting with changing to the style I want. From this I had been growing my hair and getting it cut into the specific style. I went in today for a simple tidy up and explained to the guy how I didn’t want too much off, and some grading on the sides. It’s fair to say he butchered my hair to the style he thought was best. After spending close to half a year growing my hair, with one cut he had completely ruined it. They seem to be perfect in doing a short back and sides, however, when asked to have some finesse the guy clearly got confused. He looked nervous while removing over an inch of hair. The cut he has given may be suited to what is deemed popular in young adults, however, for someone who is attempting to look professional it is absolutely shocking. He said how the cut looks good to him, clearly not considering what I actually wanted. I look like someone from peaky blinders!! In conclusion, if you want any of the in style shaved sides haircuts then go there, however, if want something a little more refined/specific I would advise going elsewhere. In their defence, after I had made my thoughts clear to the staff they did wave the £30 charge for the cut to which I was grateful.

I booked online with Viola, and despite being confirmed a time, there was confusion about her availablity when I arrived. However this was swiftly resolved and my cut started just a few minutes late. Viola gave me excellent cut. I've had my hair cut but a few other shops in the area, and this was by far the best. Well worth £25. I'll definitely be returning.

Dapper=VIOLA! Please do not let anyone touch your hair unless it’s Viola, she’s amazing!! She knows what she’s doing. I’ve been always doing my keratin and hair cuts with her. My hair is super curly and came out shiny straight and moistured. I’ve always left happy, recommend my people to her. Never disappointed. Bless you and your magic hands. A******

Every 4 weeks I come to Dapper to have Viola cut my hair. She is very well experienced, trustworthy and does a fantastic job every time. Great shop, extremely comfortable and even get a complementary gin & tonic. Top class! Thanks guys!

Visited late March 2018 in a rare moment of freedom while on paternity leave, hoping to find a good local place I could get a quality hair cut and shave, and avoid the central London option. Took advantage of a 20% discount for first order - which I thought was a great incentive and generous. Chap I had, gave me a very poor scissor cut, and managed to poke his scissors into my skin just below the eye at one point. I had showed the guy two photos of me with my usual hair cut and asked if this was something he could do (not that hard: basically short back and sides) and he said yes (almost scoffed at the simplicity). The end hair cut result was awful. At the time I had booked a cut and beard style but this chap forgot about the beard (owner take note your staff are losing you money!) and after he’d poked me with the scissors I didn’t remind him until I had to pay. This particular chap had a bit of an odd manor to him and had some strange conversation topics - mostly stuff that seemed to be lifted out of the pages of self help books. Not my kind of banter. Hopefully this whole experience is just down to him, rather than the salon as a whole, as other reviews seem to be glowing - which is why I’d decided to try the place out originally. The salon was pretty empty but clean. I personally didn’t like the decor which resembles a black and white 1980’s hair salon (although the ads I’d seen seemed to suggest this was a barber shop) but others may love that kind of style. One thing to note is that this place has the old style hair wash basin with a cut out for your neck to rest in. Most have these have been phased out now as they can harm your neck, and I prefer to lean forward over a basin anyway. The cost for a hair cut and shave was similar to (if not more expensive than) a central London barber or Turkish barber so, the cost along with the poor quality haircut and the stabbing, was not in any way enough incentive to give it another go... ever (even for free!). In just two weeks after this appointment my hair had grown out to show how badly hacked (really wasn’t a good cut - I don’t think this guy was really experienced enough to do a scissor cut) and my old central London barber was quite shocked too when he saw me to get it fixed this week. Yep, will not be going back. Seriously though, I was genuinely disappointed not to have found a local place to go for a good, high quality, reasonably priced cut and shave. :(
