Danetti

Aver dining table. The first Aver extending dining table we had delivered was damaged (the table top was cracked in several places where the screws attaching it to the main body of the table had pierced the table top). I contacted Danetti and after providing some photos they agreed to deliver a new table. This was delivered a week later and although it wasn’t damaged, it was so badly made as to be almost comical. The table top was completely out of line with the main body so that you couldn’t pull out the extension leaf. Called Danetti again and a week later we had a third table delivered which was again damaged. This time a relatively minor chip on the extension leaf. Customer service is very hit and miss. I had to contact them a number of times to provide details of the damage and re-arrange delivery etc and some of their staff are quite rude and abrupt on the phone. I couldn’t understand how the first two tables we had delivered could have passed even the most basic quality control as they were so badly damaged/badly made. I did ask Danetti about this but they offered no explanation. They did suggest each time that we could keep the damaged table and receive a small refund (10%) as a goodwill gesture. We declined this for the first two tables as they were unusable but on the third occasion when the damage was relatively minor (and we could not face waiting in all day for another delivery, taking apart and building yet another dining table) we accepted. Eventually after a lot of back and forth we got a 30% refund. I’d have preferred to have paid full price and not had all the inconvenience. In summary I would not recommend this company because of the poor quality of their furniture.

Nice design but can expect better quality because it’s not cheapest (Assi table set). After one month table top was coming off in few places (underneath a top). Contacted Danetti customer service and received below response: “This mark is not likely to worsen over time and since this is on the underside of the table and not visible, we are not able to do anything to resolve this. “ Oh well, can’t see it but it worsen after 2 month now. Do I need to wait when top will come off when it’s visible...

Helpful , quick, polite service. The Finn barstools I ordered came in a few days and were easy to assemble. Their bright mustard colour really brightens up my new kitchen and the price was one of the cheapest I came across, but they are great quality.

Terrible company. Do not buy from them. I bought a desk from them two months ago for £250. A few weeks ago I contacted them because all the paint was flaking off the edges, I was told it must be the way I’m using the desk. I’m not sure how I was using a desk wrong for the paint to flake off. After going back and forth I was told they would replace the desk, as I’d had it two months and they were saying I was using it wrong, they wouldn’t offer a refund. So, Nicola arranged delivery of the new one and collection of the old. The new desk arrived damaged, paint flaking off the edges already. When contacting them about it I was told they would either replace it again (although I’m pretty sure the same would happen) or I could have store credit and keep the damaged desk. The store credit was £20, and that was the best offer. I’ve contacted the company telling them I want a full refund and they can come and collect the desk. I am yet to hear back from them. Paying £250 for a desk for the paint to flake off within two months, then be told it was my fault, for a new one to be doing the same and they still won’t refund. The desk is not fit for purpose. Would not use this company again!

I ordered and received an Alessia white tv unit. The courier service was a two man team with heavy items to handle and deliver, so pleased to see a company observing health and safety manual handing guidelines. I was kept informed by the courier service throughout with regards to the exact delivery time. Once assembled, I have to say the product is quality and looks absolutely fabulous. The assembly time took longer than the hour stated but to be fair I am pretty thorough and careful in this respect. The items are numbered for ease of assembly. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend Danetti and would certainly make further purchases if the needs arise. Excellent from start to finish.
