We came here for my birthday, we wanted to try somewhere different and I’m glad we did! Food was amazing. Portion sizes are huge! The staff are friendly and approachable, my son enjoyed playing with the dog and the cats and unfortunately the snails… will be back in the near future. Thankyou! The chips were spot on! Almost as good as my dads.xx
We sat outside in the beer garden area, as the weather was beautiful. Made our reservation online. Food was huge portions, we maybe should have gone for the smaller option, but it was delicious all the same, only meant we were too full for a dessert! Would definitely return, as the staff were friendly and prices were very reasonable. We even had a visitor join our table!!!
Fun little spot with tasty pub fare served in giant proportions beware the size of the meat pie - you've been warned. Friendly staff even to us tourists and very dog-friendly.
Staying in the area and saw their special Steak Night advertised, so thought I'd give it a try....what a great decision that was! One of the best meals I've had in ages, beautifully cooked steak with all the trimmings done to perfection, and a lovely bottle of wine included for a very reasonable price. Not only that, a really friendly crowd in there and a great vibe, overall a brilliant night. Simply a 'must visit' pub, compliments to all the team and especially the chef!

Glasson dock hidden gem, tucked away behind the cafe and tea room, this very friendly pub is not only very inviting, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, we ordered the roast beef Sunday lunch, 2 sizes, was warned if opted for the large plate, would be no room for pudding, yes true to the words, the smaller plate was filled to the brim, the sticky toffee pudding I managed to have was very good, compliments to the chef, Worth a visit if just for a drink or light snacks also.
Nice old style pub, set in a nice location at Glasson Dock. Staff are very friendly, I have not eaten there yet so can not comment on the food.
Nice clean pub tucked away...looked out for the sandwich board Nice! Good food and friendly staff. Felt covid safe and plenty of outdoor space to drink or dine out.
Wandered in by accident from the Lancaster Canal to see Glasson Dock. Found ourselves in a mini summer festival based around the Dalton. Despite being busy the staff were really friendly the beer and rum & coke were good. Great place to sit outside in the summer, right in the heart of the port. Great find.
Friendly welcome. Sat outside but collected the drinks from the bar inside & the place looked very cozy. Thwaites cask beers were excellent.
