D J's Hilltop Cafe

I absolutely love DJs. The staff are so friendly, they serve great coffee in huge mugs and do a very reasonable and tasty breakfast. There is a small play area for children which my toddler enjoys, they also provide high chairs and children's meals etc. The Sunday roast in my opinion is the best in the area. We all love the gravy and I pretty much don't go anywhere else for a roast now. It's tasty and great value. Sometimes I even get a takeaway! I will always be a returning customer due to the good value, delicious food, warm welcome and great service.

Lovely food and lovely people running it. Not high class food but good, tasty, honest home made food with generous portions. I'd certainly rather eat here than some of the local pubs like Old Salt Quay. To top it off the people running it are absolutely lovely. Thank you, we will be back!

Community centre cafe. Family friendly with a play area... Great for parents. Nice portions. Friendly staff, South African food for those missing their taste of home.

Stumbled on this cafe last April when supporting a friend who was running the marathon, lovely bacon sandwiches and coffee. Just recommended to someone else who is looking for places for their support team to see them run.

Good food. Good coffee. Home made cakes. Some South African items on salebiltong,koeksisters,creme soda etc. Child friendly. Wheelchair accessible.

Lovely little cafe run by two absolutely great guys. Cheap and cheerful. Excellent value especially for Sunday roast!
